Just returned from a two week stay at this wonderful hotel, and what can I say - it just keeps getting better. So, where do I start....As last time, I booked our room directly with the hotel and again opted for the club room with a sea view. At the same time, I booked an airport pickup, which I would... more

What a place! Great food , spotlessly clean everywhere, lovely sea views superb bedrooms - simply the best hotel for food and service we have stayed in anywhere. And we got to see the most amazing firework display in a lifetime for the Atlantis Hotel launch from our balcony on the 8th floor. The only damper was the noise from... more

Just returned from a stay at Le Royal Meridien, where we've stayed many times over the last 8/9 years. For the first time, we were disappointed. We stayed in the Tower where the rooms, as always, are lovely. Yes, there is construction everywhere (anyone going to Dubai who's not aware of this is ill-informed but in for a nasty shock!)... more

I have one word: GREAT! Everything from staff to rooms to view to sunbeds to the cold towels by the pools to the mojito on the roof terrace to the beach and last but not least; the food! My god! What a fantastic stay we had. There was some noice every now and then from construction, but hey, if you... more

Just returned from a long weekend at The Royal. My husband had to attend some business meetings and we used to live in Dubai, so it was a chance to go back. I have to say that we could not fault the hotel. We had booked a Tower room and were upgraded to a suite..pure luxury. breakfast in our room... more

Spent 5 nights at the Royal Meridien last week. The hotel is completely surrounded on the land side by massive construction work 24x7 - huge concrete carcasses of high rise apartment buildings. The hotel is already dwarfed by other buildings and the view from the gardens/beach looking inland is of cranes and concrete ...... Theres a nearby newly built promenade... more

Just returned from a very relaxing week at Le Royal Meridien. We where upgraded from a deluxe room to a tower room which was superb, we think this was maybe due to the huge building site that the deluxe rooms overlook. Hotel facilities where excellent and service excellent. We ate in the Al Khaima (Arabic) resteaurant and Prime Rib Steakhouse... more

I don't want to spoil the party but I can hardly believe I stayed in the same hotel as some the other people who wrote recent reviews. My impressions were - The hotel is very dated, even though it's not that old. The 'deluxe room' was small, dark and worn. The bathroom had a mouldy shower curtain over the bath.... more

Had a brilliant week in the Royal Meridien. The hotel is fantastic. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and could not do enough to make our stay perfect. The grounds are lovely and there is plenty of room so you can have your own space to relax and chill out. Breakfast was... more

Having been booked initially at the Atlantis, we changed the booking following all the bad reports on Trip Advisor to Le Royal Meridien, and we were not disappointed. This 5 star Hotel, In my opinion was absolutely first class in every area. Check in for the Royal Tower has a dedicated area, and we were welcomed with a glass of... more
