I warn all tourists NOT TO STAY in this hotel because you'll only feel terrible & angry because of: 1) rude & sarcastic staff, especially receptionists 2) filthy & stinky rooms, hallway, & restaurant 3) bed even harder than rock 4) laborers doing repair at dawn 5) old & rubbish facilities 6) bad location as it's nearby many construction shops... Also they were changing the internet provider, they give password cards now, one per person ( luckily the front desk girl was nice enough to give me 2 as I... More

BAD: I can't recommend this hotel to anyone. There was supposed be a pool and a gym but they were out of service. When I went to complain about it, the HOTEL MANAGER HIMSELF said that he can't help. So we paid for the pool and didn't get any refund or not even an apology for that. "Service" is terrible.... More

The hotel is located in back of the ben yas square. But behind the hotel is very busy. The price is good and hotel for a business trip is not too bad. Breakfast of hotel serve at 7:30 everyday and its like a two star hotels breakfast no more and no less

The hotel is located in a shady, smelly and crowded area, in Deira, not in Dubai. We arrived on Dec 31 to find out that our online booked room (booked months ago),already PAID is not available. Receptionist lied in our face, saying that they have an urgent maintenance on one floor, and this is the reason they cannot accommodate us.... More

Staying in The Creek

Neighborhood Profile
The Creek
The smell of frankincense hangs thick and heavy in the air, waves lap gently at jetties, and market traders call to passing tourists. The creek, originally the place where pearl boats docked and left on missions to uncover jewels from the deep, is where the city really began. The Al Fahidi District on the Creekside is one of the oldest heritage sites in Dubai, easily recognizable with its iconic wind towers, the original air conditioning. Home to the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding and the Dubai Museum, the old buildings also house a range of cafes, shops and art galleries. Often called “the real Dubai,” this is a wonderful place to lose yourself before catching an abra across the creek to the spice souk, where your senses will be overwhelmed with tastes, smells, and sounds.
