The apartments here are spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The view is superb out over the water. It was a nice quiet apartment and well located, the taxi's are very inexpensive and the only way to get about. We were well situated and could readily get a taxi and get about easily. We stayed for two nights at the Sapphire Hotel apartments at the end of March. The apartments themeselves were perfectly adequeate. We had a one bedroom apartment which was very spacious and larger than we expected. Despite booking for 3 adults on Expedia, they did try to charge us an extra 100DM for a spare bed to be in the... These are supposed to be serviced appartments, ok there are no ovens, only a mircowave, there is gas stove, but there is no gas, and only a single electric ring to cook on. Barely enough plates etc for two. Taxi's cannot find this place and when you book a taxi, it either takes an hour or does not turn up.... More

Like an oasis, Sapphire is one of the new staying options in Dubai. It is a functionally perfect hotel with decent sized rooms. I was there only for one night & stayed in their Executive Studio.
