The decor in the hotel is Persian and very striking. The room was decorated beautifully. Fine furnishings. Very nice terrace overlooking the gardens. The outdoor areas are world class, absolutely breathtaking, very traditional, magnificent Persian garden, A Historical site in itself . A MUST SEE! Great place to dine outside or have a cup of tea. Could spend the whole... more
I didn't book as my travel agent said I could just turn up, wrong, as there was only room available for the one night. So my advice is to book ahead to avoid dissapointment. Dollars are fine and the service is good but no fresh coffee for breakfast is a serious omission for such an establishment. more
Inner court of main building is excellent, but singles and doubles standart rooms are in new wing and like a 3 star hotel. I changed 2 rooms, because one of them was near the road with terrible traffic area, other one was near laundry with terrible noise. Old furniture in rooms. more

The most eye catching aspect of this hotel is the fantastic traditional architecture which u cannot absolutely find it anywhere else . The decor in the reception area and dining rooms is stunning. A wonderful example of Persian art and architecture. The staff are relatively friendly (for the Iranian hospitiality... more
Domestic flights in Iran costs approximately $30 for one-way. After your plane lands in Esfahan Airport you have to take a taxi to your hotel. We payed 6 USD to taxi to our hotel for half an hour voyage for four passengers. If you are going to Esfahan from the West even from Turkey you have a suspicion about life... more
Abbasi is Iran's finest property and one of the world's great hotels. And stay at the Abbasi is an experience to savor. What a tranquille place! Beautiful decorations inside the hotel, wellkept and clean, very friendly service. As a person coming from Finland I even found the perfect finnish sauna, hamam and the pool, with the friendly staff to serve... more
Very nice hotel, but compared to hotels in eg Dubai, US$120 for a double room is pricey. Be sure to ask for a room with a double bed. Rooms on top floor not as nice as those on other floors. The Chehelsotoun restaurant in the hotel is ideal for a romantic dinner and reasonable priced. The food, however, is average.... more
