The Totia Hotel is about 15-20 min walking from the Imam Square, hence, has a decent location. The price is good at 900,000 rials per night (at the time of writing 23€). According to Lonely Planet the hotel is family owned although I have to admit that we haven't felt much of the charm of a family spirit. In either... More

We booked a triple room and the price as lower than published in LP. Friendly staff. The room was spacious and a powerful shower. The breakfast is ok. Walking distance to Imam square approx. 15 minutes. Opposite the hotel is a cheap restaurant and a place to smoke waterpipe (galyan). The staff asked for payment upfront, which was a bit... More

The Totia is highly overrated by Lonely Planet and therefore many travellers land in this gloomy, loud and inhospitable hotel, being disappointed. The price is ok and the hotel is clean, buts thats all. For not much more you get much better experiences in Esfahan, we moved to a different hotel after three nights. The interior design style could be... More

The hotel is on a reasonable location. The room we have had was large (triple) and clean. The shower was good and very strong, but you have to take your belongings from the bathroom. Water reaches everywhere. The owner asked payment in advance. Okay, but we are not used to that. Great plus is the private and locked parkingplace.

Hotel Totia has the atmosphere of a three star hotel, it's clean, the rooms are big enough, the breakfast is okay. Wifi is a bit slow and limited at some times. It's located near the centre, which is a 15 minute walk.

Hotels in Esfahan are not cheap and many of them isnt nice. Totia is exception, despite the fact that its prices doubled over last three years. Its classical hotel of western type, so dont expect traditional merchant house style hotel. Rooms are clean, nice, bathroom is spacy and even cleaner. Breakfast is good. Its a little bit far from centre... More

Esfahan isn't noted for good value budget accommodation but this is a superb option. It's well located about a fifteen minute walk from Naqsh-e Jahan Square and it's closer still to the bazaar. The rooms are excellent - ensuite with western and squat toilet and look to have been recently renovated. I paid 70,000 toman (about 17 euro) a night... More

We found this hotel after one night in a over priced hostel. This hotel was just around the corner, great location to explore Esfahan by foot and offered comfort we missed for a long time. The rooms a spacious, clean and have own bathroom including Western and Asian WC. The hotel also have a locked parking space and good wifi... More

Perfectly acceptable budget option (700k R for a double room in May 2014) with spacious & clean AC rooms, every-day cleaning, complimentary breakfast (quite simple though) and good localisation (3 minutes walk from Amir Kabir hostel and 10-15 mins walk from Imam Sq). On the downside, the WiFi is not free - it costs 20k R per 100MB and even... More

Good hotel at a reasonable price. Average room but acceptable. Very good location and not too far from the bazaar or main square. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is reasonable consisting of the usual hard-boiled eggs, cheese, flatbread, jam and so on.
