Enjoyed my stay at the Traditional Hotel- rooms were big, clean, place is quiet in a busy part of town. Loved the look of the restaurant and breakfast wasn't bad compared to other places in Iran. Staff didnt help with the luggage though and make sure you ask reception for a hair dryer as they dont have these in the... More

If you demand hotel amenities as comfortable beds, self-contained western style toilette, or bath tub/shower and the like, Taktaku is not for you. At Taktaku you sleep on the floor, use the only available squat-type toilette, & the family's shower down the hall. But if you are a cultural/echo tourist in search of real rural Kviri (desert) living experience at... More

Location is very good, just 10 min walk from the central square. Nice traditional inner courtyard. Rooms are not so great, but OK for the price. Food in the restaurant is good and not expensive. Staff in the restaurant do not speak English very good, but they give their best to help you. We had many laughs when we tried... More

I would recommend this place only because it has so much character and is beautiful. Rooms are a good size and the courtyard is fantastic. Don't expect the staff to be very helpful. They do their job and nothing more. Restaurant staff speak NO English. It is in a great location, within in a 5min walk to the Bazaar and... More

The hotel location can be considered a good location, because is near the main town square. To access the hotel by walking you have to cross several bazaar roads what can be somehow weird during the night (but I found Iran one of the most safe countries where I've been). The hotel have two courtyards and one of them is... More

I stayed for two nights, and until the end I would've said "good room, poor breakfast, generally ok", but it got very strange at the end. The room I had was lovely, nice and airy and clean, good air conditioning, comfortable beds, all good. Breakfast was not great - the first day it didn't start until 8am (despite the paper... More

I stayed for one night there. The Hotel is an ancient Iranian house which converted to hotel. It's traditional windows and doors ,specially traditional door lock is remarkable. rooms are well furnished and wall paintings is so different. The restaurant serves traditional Iranian food at night and short walking distance to Imam Square is a benefit. Also there is 30%... More

Compared with everywhere else we stayed in Iran, this was not a good hotel. The girls on the front desk need to learn howe to be more welcoming; the 'manager' was a surly individual who did nothing much to improve the experience; the breakfast was terrible; the rooms ordinary. If whoever owns this hotel spent a bit of time and... More

Stayed here for 11 days. This small hotel has its charm that made me wanna return to stay there whenever Im back to Isfahan. The service is so so...breakfast is forgettable...but the friendly staff and the cosy room make the aforesaid forgivable. The location is good when it is daytime, that the bazaar is busy - but at nite it... More
