The hotel looks really amazing and we were given a really big room but when we came there, we were in a rush to find transport to Teheran Airport the next day and I'm sorry to say that the staff was unhelpful, lazy and not at all accommodating. The room was big but it was not very clean and had... More

Stayed here in January 2014. The hotel is in an ideal location, within walking distance from most of the major must-see locations in the city. It's only 100 metres away from the bazaar. It's a classical old Iranian building with an unpretentious entrance from a narrow and busy alley way. The Hakim mosque is virtually next door. Inside there is... More

This hotel was a five minute walk down a crazy alley that I wouldn't advise anyone drive down or even drag their bags down. It took us fifteen minutes due to traffic snarls. It is only a ten minute walk from the bazaar and the main square so that was good. The rooms were quite poorly decorated and sparse. My... More

Enjoyed my stay at the Traditional Hotel- rooms were big, clean, place is quiet in a busy part of town. Loved the look of the restaurant and breakfast wasn't bad compared to other places in Iran. Staff didnt help with the luggage though and make sure you ask reception for a hair dryer as they dont have these in the... More

If you demand hotel amenities as comfortable beds, self-contained western style toilette, or bath tub/shower and the like, Taktaku is not for you. At Taktaku you sleep on the floor, use the only available squat-type toilette, & the family's shower down the hall. But if you are a cultural/echo tourist in search of real rural Kviri (desert) living experience at... More

Location is very good, just 10 min walk from the central square. Nice traditional inner courtyard. Rooms are not so great, but OK for the price. Food in the restaurant is good and not expensive. Staff in the restaurant do not speak English very good, but they give their best to help you. We had many laughs when we tried... More

I would recommend this place only because it has so much character and is beautiful. Rooms are a good size and the courtyard is fantastic. Don't expect the staff to be very helpful. They do their job and nothing more. Restaurant staff speak NO English. It is in a great location, within in a 5min walk to the Bazaar and... More

The hotel location can be considered a good location, because is near the main town square. To access the hotel by walking you have to cross several bazaar roads what can be somehow weird during the night (but I found Iran one of the most safe countries where I've been). The hotel have two courtyards and one of them is... More

I stayed for two nights, and until the end I would've said "good room, poor breakfast, generally ok", but it got very strange at the end. The room I had was lovely, nice and airy and clean, good air conditioning, comfortable beds, all good. Breakfast was not great - the first day it didn't start until 8am (despite the paper... More
