I have stayed in this Marriott for two nights. I van rate my experience as nice. First of all, the location is excellent. The hotel is in a popular street where you can have everything you want in a walking distance. It is also close to the "Mobiles Market". Even the hotel is old, but it is completely refurbished and... This is not the most modern hotel in Jeddah, a little outdated, but everything very clean and business standard. Good restaurant and high speed. What is superb, is the human factor. Kind and professional. The waiters in the restaurant are very attentive, specially Hira.

This hotel has the most hospitable staff in the whole of Jeddah. I've been to different hotel chains in the area and you cannot find better people than the ones here. The hotel needs some major renovations but still you can get a great night sleep true to the word of every Marriott bedding and pillows. Cable TV offers a... More

This is a classic example how something old can be maintained to a relative standard. The wifi is on and off stable or unstable but a 5/10 I think it is a relative number. The rooms are old and sometimes borderline tatty but they do have that classic feel to them..... Would I recommend it to a friend or colleague........sure... More

This hotel is a feel bad hotel. Old, worn out. Offers absolutely no value for the money. I have stayed there on a business trip. It was old, the room service reached my room no earlier than 5 p.m. ! Reception staff are friendly, but that does not compensate for the gloominess and the bad state of the hotel.

Great staff. The decor is direct from the 1980s but if you can get past that one small detail this is a very nice hotel. Good breakfast and quality of room service food is good. Need a taxi to get around. Nice place for business meetings and frequented by the locals.

Very good standard room, at a good price (for Jeddah where most hotels are over priced), with only the lack of a kettle being a negative. The pool is not in service, but as this is Saudi (can't swim with family) it didn't really matter. Comfortable clean, and spacious. Front staff are very friendly and helpful.

The quality in Saudi is at best below average, therefore this location was a pleasant surprise! Having traveled to Saudi for the past 4 years I struggled to find a comfortable, reasonable and consistent hotel, looks like this is it! Good location, reasonable food, clean and just plain "good"

The Jeddah Marriot was probably a great hotel when it opened. It is now a little tired and dated. Overall it is still a good place but needs more food choices and modern facilties. Staff we're very helpful
