Stayed here on business. Great staff and a very nice breakfast. Rooms are large, clean etc but simply need a refurbishment to make this hotel better. I would stay here again for sure - but please give some TLC to reward the excellent staff here

Set in the once affluent part of Jeddah the Marriot is still a stalwart on the hotel circuit there. Evidently aged and would benefit from some TLC and investment it is still a pleasant Hotel. The staff from check-in to room service to Atrium Cafe and then Al Bassateen Restaurant was in my opinion very good and attended to any... More

The hotel was clean and maintained, but does need some improvements. Check in/out was not difficult, the rooms are sufficient, but nothing to make me return. I was traveling with two colleagues, we all had issues with keeping the wi-fi running smoothly. The rooms did include an iron/board, however there was no hotpot for in-room coffee/tea service, which would have... More

The Jeddah Marriott is one of the oldest five star properties in Jeddah. Its’ service and attention to details still ranks it as a great five star property. The hotel has two 8 story towers with a nice pool between the towers. There is a large enclosed Parking Lot available for those who drive to the hotel. The Check in... More

I spent one night in September in this Marriott in a suite (~300 Euros). On the whole, this hotel is ageing. Check-in & check-out went smoothly. The room was not worth 300 Euros. Ageing furniture, noisy AC, freezing AC even when turned off... The bathroom brings you back to the 80s and the amenities are of low standard (no brand... More

Stayed here for one day to catch a flight from Makkah. the Check in was fast and we got our rooms, which were connected. from the large lobby of the hotel, you could sense the age of the building, but everything was functioning. the rooms were rather big and the toilets too. The beds were large and comfortable, tried the... More

I stayed here on business. The hotel looked rather dated but had the required facilities including a decent restaurant. The rooms were comfortable and came with a prayer mat and a little arrow to show you which way to face Mecca! The location is between two busy downtown streets, but you will need a driver to take you anywhere.

It has been almost 8 years since I last stayed here. Not many changes at all, however I guess there are some renovations in the rooms. I was given a suite, that has a very big and comfy bed. The living room has a sofa bed that is very hard to sit on. The air con was difficult to control,... More

Depressing run down hotel. 4 star at best. Not scary but that's about it. Dining awful, service incompetent and room old and depressing. If you find yourself in Jeddah and end up here you will be rather depressed. I usually stay at Park Hart Jeddah, just stay there.

It seems that the Jeddah Marriott was renovated quite some time ago (if ever). The facilities, room décor, etc. were quite old. Generally, the whole experience was "OK", but certainly very poor value for money. I will probably stay elsewhere during my next trip.
