I have never encountered a hotel where they asked me to pay for internet In order to get customers they put in very very small letter at the end of the booking that internet is not included in the rate It is a total RIP OFF

Was on a business trip with no plans to stay overnight. Last minute decision - I called Marriott Jeddah having stayed there years ago. The operator/ Res staff were very friendly - helped me with my booking. Upon arrival the bell hop was on his cel phone, although I did not need assistance with luggage, but tried to get his... More

Time stopped probably in the 80s for this hotel. However, its a good option in Jeddah if the budget is important. Clean, decent but obsolete. Location is a bit off the main area and access needs a detour. A major refurbishment is necessary both in the rooms and the common areas.

Very busy area with an old Marriott, proposing good service and big rooms. I found fully not acceptable price for wifi in the room, like 60 riyals per hour or 100 per day... Gym area is good and the buffet also not bad. Choice though is again limited , uneasy access to other restaurants out of the hotel because of... More

The process of reinstalling yesterday's food on the buffet is always disquieting, but it was very much in evidence here. The swimming pool was 'under renovation', apparently had been for ages. The gym had no water. Lack of care was in abundant evidence everywhere. The food in the lobby was adequate but not excellent. Marriott needs to take this in... More

I stayed in the Marriott for 2 days on business - whilst the hotel externally looks rather dated, the lobby and restaurant are pleasant. The rooms are a little dated as well however my room (445) was huge with a separate livingroom and bedroom with a king-size bed. Only real negative was a loud air-conditioner which needs either to be... More

Mostly a functional business hotel located in the middle of the city. Reasonably priced, except for food. Two things bothered me on this stay. First, the bathroom was considerably dated and in need of work. The shower area was actually quite bad. The other thing was the food issues over all. The options were quite limited and the prices too... More

My first impression of this Marriott was safety. During my visit, no cars were allowed in the valet area which was equipped with the big heavy duty hydraulic road blocker. There are also security attendants managing parking and entry into the building. While it's sad we live in a time and place that these precautions are needed, I am glad... More

Our trip to Jeddah was at around midnight, after a delay from the airport we reached the hotel at around 1.30 AM but were surprised that even though our booking was in their system and they had confirmed our rooms, the rooms were not available. The reception told us that they were going to put us in the Ramada just... More

I stayed here for one night with few colleagues. I did not have high expactions as the hotel is 20+ years old but I was really surprised about the quality of the rooms. Well maintained and clean. I had a room in the 7th floor far away from any noise. The staff though requires more training as I had some... More
