After the completion of our hajj- my husband and I were able to relax in Jeddah for a 2 days prior to our departure back to the States. The Moevenpick Hotel was by far the best hotel in terms of food, hospitality, and comfort on our whole trip. All the hotels we stayed at in Saudi were Moevenpicks and all... More

This was a haven in Jeddah. Traditional, quiet and peaceful Indian (mainly) personnel were polite and courteous to the extreme. At reception and on room service they know your name. Rooms were luxurious, fully carpeted and clean. Food was a little spartan but I ate most in my room where service was quick and efficient. Everything was nice here! More

i have been staying in this hotels for few years I choose this hotel because: 1) Good location, opposite of the road, i can go to my favourite fast foos reastaurant, Al Baik Fried Chicken 2) Staff service is good, actually quite good. In Saudi, hospitality service is quite rare. 3) Room is spacious. 4) Free Internet 5) Nice Asian... More

A home away from home. Great location close to the airport, businesses and malls. Food is great and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Every time I arrive into Jeddah the driver (airport pickup is a paid service) would bring my favorite room’s key to the airport, my room would be furnished with my favorite work chair, coffee maker and... Being a frequent visitor on sometimes long stays I was pleasantly surprised to experience continued excellence epitomised through careful and attentive service through all hotel disciplines from the porters to the cooks, maintenance to the staff entrusted with room upkeep, room service to fitness centre; the list is endless, the obvious interest of staff in their job, aiming to make... Date stayed Nov 8-9, 2011. Nice clean hotel, well located with abundant shopping and dining around. The room had a king bed and a folding bed. Room was quite comfortable and large. Check in was uneventful. At arrival, a small plate of fruits was provided, gratis. The room had a pool view (outdoor) which was not inhabited, likely related to... More

As residents of Jeddah, we don't usually go out of our way to visit hotels, let alone staying overnight. So I guess if there is exceptions to this rule, anniversaries would be on the top of that list. I was looking up Jeddah's reputable hotels, and frankly price was the main factor. Jeddah's top tier hotels are nutritiously expensive, especially... More

First of all don't be fooled by the apparently new exterior - this hotel seems to be an old one which evidently has been re-branded Movenpick. I was under the impression that Movenpick hotels were of 4 star standard but the Saudi Supreme Commission for Tourism rating for this property is 3 star which is about accurate. Rooms really need...
