Large hotel. Rooms are nice but strong mildew odor in two rooms we booked. Typical Middle eastern buffs in restaurant that should have renovation done few years ago. Taxes available down in the street and lots of places to go to eat

We stayed here for two nights while on a tourist trip to Jeddah. The hotel is a little worn, you can tell it used to be top notch. Still, it's nice and very clean. We were comfortable in our room and happy with everything. We loved the location in the old city. Wi-Fi didn't work the first day, but staff... More

Hospitality is very poor, service is bad , value against money is not as expected , room is very narrow, old , food is accepted , location is nice , parking is very bad , not easy access , reception is not friendly, long time to check in , over all rating is poor , only for short stay.

Lovely hotel close to main souks . I was there for a night with my kids and extended family comfortable lovely could do with a bit more refinement in the cleaning department. But on the whole a nice hotel only the revamped superior rooms should be considered

Overall, I enjoyed staying for several days at this hotel while on a business trip. There were a few minor problems - upon checking in, I was given a room that was already occupied, there was no wi-fi the first night, and once the housekeeping didn't make up my room until 5:30 in the afternoon - but otherwise it was... In July I forgot a nice book in the room. Since then, I have come twice and never been able to recover it. "come at 9h00". "let me check". "I am very busy now, I will ask and will let you know". Finally, I gave up. It is a pity, honestly, being a regular customer I believe I deserve a... More

The Middle East and indeed Saudi Arabia has no shortage of world class hotels, including all the usual suspects: Hilton, Sheraton, Radisson, Le Meridean and InterContinental to name but a few. Most of these monolithic monsters were constructed with the huge profits of oil production and all are very grand in their own way. The problem is you might as... More
