My second time in staying here and still seems to be the only viable choice in Aleppo. Rooms are typical Sheraton, so a good standard. Only minor negative I can think of is that the gym (as I seemed to be the only person that used it - I gather exercise isn't big in Syria) didn't have the air conditioning... more

The hotel looks like it had only been recently built. So we found it a fresh and modern hotel. It is of course also a big hotel and part of a chain, and so it perhaps lacked the charm and coziness of some of the other hotels we stayed at in Syria. However the rooms were clean, a good size... more

Newly built and opened in 2007, standing above the foundations of some massive ancient walls of the old city. Very comfortable. The Italian restaurant, Leonardo’s, offers particularly good cooking, but is relatively expensive. Imported wines, whether Lebanese or European, are outrageously expensive. more

We stayed 2 nights, after the Four Seasons in Damascus it seemed rather poor quality throughout. The room was on the club floor, no one at reception / door to help with lugguage, our driver did that job, it took 30 minutes to get to room. The check in at club floor couldn't do mastercard. They had no local currency... more

This hotel is brand new, it opened last year. Very nice lobby. Reasonable shopping arcade. It is close to the major attractions in Aleppo, such as the citadel, the souk and the old parts of town. Rooms are decent size and the bathroon facilities are adequate. The shower is a bit small but you can also use the bathtub. I... more

Had a great stay at the Sheraton Aleppo. As an SPG platinum member I was upgraded to the Club floor which has a nice lounge and a lap top to use to check e-mail. The rooms were nicely decorated and the staff was great. The cold mezze from room service were also excellent. At a cost of only about $100,... more

After reading all the reviews of this hotel I am trying to figure out if I am staying at the same hotel. I am a Sheraton Starwood member and I have stayed in many Sheraton's but this one is really the worst I have ever experienced. On check in at 4pm we were told that we could not have interconnecting... more

Most enjoyable stay. Lovely large rooms. Great modern gym facilities. Downstairs spa with hammam (check it out on arrival and book the masseuse, and hammam on arrival as otherwise you may miss out - they did not have a woman available for woman's treatments as we didn't realize this facility was available until our last eveing). We had great food... more
