This is a nice, higher end hotel about 200 meters north of the Great Mosque. While it may seem pricy, it's less than half the price of the Sheraton and rooms are comparable. I was pleasantly surpised with this little gem. Spotless clean, tastefully decorated and a very attentive staff. Not to mention the great location! I had spent one week on the road in Jordan doing countless site inspections and had come to understand that a 4 star in that part of the world is really a 3 star by American standards.... more

I stayed at this property for 2 nights in September 09. The hotel's location is the best in Aleppo. Just 2 minutes from the main mosque and the old market and the imposing Citadel gateway. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive to details of our stay. Its a new hotel, one year old, bedrooms are more western and contemporary. Very nicely furnished and comfortable bedding.
