I stayed at Yasmeen d'Alep for several nights in early July 2011. I travelled there with my husband to get away from Damascus for a bit. The revolution had taken hold of nearly all the rest of Syria. Tourism was decimated by the security situation, so when we arrived, we were the first guests the hotel had hosted in over... More

Beautiful hotel, fantastic rooms, friendly&helpful staff, convenient location. We stayed in this hotel in March 2011 and enjoyed every bit. It was clean and well maintained. It meets the highest european standards and feels like an oasis in the busy city of Aleppo. The rooms really look as shown on the images you find in the internet (e.g. Tripadvisor) and... More

We stayed here for 5 nights and can only rave about the excellent service and beautiful atmospheric room. Mr Badi Al Koudasi was charming and brought us fruit and showed us around the hotel and the spa area downstairs in an ancient cave that the house is built on. This is a beautiful house situated down a clean alley way... More

Aleppo is a beautiful city and the Souq and Citadel are a must if you visit this city. Syria is not currently on the tourist map at the time of writing but once the troubles are over then Aleppo is a must for any visit to Syria. The Yasmeen d'Alep is a boutique hotel in what was once a family... More

This is hotel that we can highly recommend. The location is excellent in one of the nicest quarters of Aleppo. The hotel is beautifully decorated - simple and elegant, and unlike many of the over-decorated boutique hotels in the country. Service was very good as well. The only problem with this hotel is that it is so small and popular... More

I spent 4 fabuloust nights at the Yasmen d"Alep and highly recommend this hotel. My room was beautiful, spacious, had modern amenities, and had a nice balcony over the central courtyard. The breakfast was excellent- enormous with good variety(try the za'atar- mix it with the olive oil provided). After eating this tasty breakfast, I didn't need to eat until the... More

A really outstanding small hotel in a beautiful house, with friendly and helpful staff and owner, Badi Al Koudsi. I would go back for a month next time and seep myself in the atmosphere of Aleppo. The kind of hotel atmosphere which is very hard to find anywhere and which gives you a great impression of Syria and the Syrians. More

This is a small hotel located in the Christian Quarter of Jdeideh, with very nice, quiet rooms around an open courtyard and iwan, friendly staff and excellent breakfast. There are several decent restaurants in a few mins. walking distance. Well recommended. More

This was the perfect oasis to which to return after a long day of siteseeing...It is situated among winding streets in the old section where you experience a wonderful flavor of "old Aleppo"....the entire staff is friendly, helpful, and competent. I relaxed in their hamman deep under the hotel and it was a treat to lie back and soak in... More

I booked this hotel through a different site, Ghazal Tours, which charge you before you go, so it was a risk, but they had reasonable prices. We booked a senior suite in Yasmeen d'Alep which was beautifully furnished (though our room lacked a mirror - difficult with three girls crowding around the bathroom mirror!) and had a modern and slickly...
