We spent Christmas at this hotel and it was perfect. The rooms are not particularly large (the suites are somewhat mis-named), but they are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. As we were with 2 children, we booked the Presidential Suite which was one large room with en-suite, while our other family members took a Senior Suite which was a typical... more

We stayed 3 days in Aleppo with my wife and 2 kids (9 and 5). It was a fantastic experience... Yasmeen d'Alep is a wonderful old house in an old part of Aleppo. Very nice location, fantastic atmosphere...Staying there was like a little journey in the Ottoman empire... We stayed in the Sultan suite and it was really suitable to... more

We stayed at the Yasmeen for 4 nights staying in 3 different rooms as we didn't book far enough ahead to secure a single room for the period. The hotel was magnificently decorated and each room has it's own distinct character and identity with lots of special little details. Visually the whole property is stunning and the lighting of an... more

Aleppo was our first stop in Syria and staying at the Jasmeen was definitely a fantastic start. This 17th century Arabic courtyard house tucked away in a quiet side alley was transformed into a hotel with infinite and loving care to every small detail. Our room the Al Khawaja with a domed skylight - overlooking the courtyard, was spacious, tastefully... more

We have just spent a few days in Aleppo (Syria). While looking for a restaurant in the old Armenian district, in a dedalus of little secret alleys, we knocked on the door of a little hotel carrying the same name as the resaturant we were looking for. As it turned out the restaurant was no longer operating, but the Yasmeen... more

This hotel is perfectly located in a quiet spot, and close to a square which is deal for people watching during the day, and a short walk to practically everything else. 8 rooms of different standards. We stayed twice, at start and end of our trip and both rooms we thought were great value for money. Staff so helpful and... more

What a lovely place! Away from the street and delightfully appointed. Rooms were well decorated, beds very comfortable. Staff were courteous and helpful. The position was convenient for the Old City and the shopping centres. No complaints! more
