The Beit Salahieh, is a lovely hotel (converted from a 15th century palace), which has panoramic views of the Citadel. The staff were courteous and helpful. The hotel is tucked down a narrow residential street (with signs all along the way, directing a visitor). I found it an easy walk to the Citadel and the souqs. I had some difficulty... more
We had a confirmed booking to stay at Beit Salahieh in October but arrived to find that they had overbooked with a tour group and could not fit us in. We had even sent our credit card details to confirm the booking and had a response from the Manager acknowledging this. Despite this, they did not attempt to contact us,... more

The room was comfortable without being luxurious. Hotel is situated in beautiful old building with lots of ambience. Staff was kind and helpful. My husband was sick during our... more

Fortunately it is well signposted from main roads in 2 directions. It's converted from two Ottoman houses, and has been beautifully restored. Some of the rooms open off the inner courtyards and the balconies above, others are... more
