Lotus Villa is situated in a quiet central area of the historic district of Luang Prabang on a street where the Buddhist monk morning procession can be observed. Included in the room price is a fabulous breakfast with fresh baked baguettes and exotic jams among the menu items. Our room with twin beds was very comfortable and clean. The water... More

This cute little place did not stand out from the outside. However, once you’re inside one of the rooms and see the back terrace, it’s like a little tropical paradise. Staffs were knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt. The price was affordable and came with sumptuous breakfast as well as complimentary internet. Clean, down-to-earth, modern, and tranquil.

Lived here for 4 amazing nights and enjoy the tranquil and the hospitality of this hotel. Staff are super nice and helpful here to help me to exchange currency and suggesting me what to do around. Interior design is pretty great and they kindly accept my ask to change rooms to a better view one. The breakfast here is super... More

I have just spent 5 nights at the Lotus Villa and would certainly recommend it. Staff are very pleasant and helpful, my room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the pretty breakfast area and garden. Can be a bit noisy in the morning being near the temples but, for me, this is part of the charm. Situated in the nicest... More

We stayed for almost a week at Lotus Villa and were not a bit disappointed with anything. Met at the airport by their efficient pickup service, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel like family for our whole stay. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff to find out for us or arrange. Our upstairs corner room overlooked... More

We loved this hotel. It is just off the main street, so it is quiet, but so easy to walk anywhere. The monks come by at dawn with their begging bowls for the cooked sticky rice the local devotees give them. Breakfasts were great with fresh fruit and a choice of Laotian or Western breakfasts. The staff was helpful and... More

Lotus Villa is located off the main street, but still on the route the monks take for morning alms. It's also within easy walking distance of all the sites of Luang Prabang. An upstairs room has a balcony overlooking the inner courtyard, and garden. If you choose a room on the street side, you can watch the monks from above,... More

We stayed here for three nights over Pi Mai (Lao New Year) in April. The town was a bit more festive, and wet, than normal. The Lotus Villa is a short walk up a quiet street to Wat Xieng Thong and the Mekong, as well as the center of town. The alms ceremony is on the street outside every morning... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in April 2015. The room was a great size and even with two extra beds for the kids there was loads of space. Our balcony overlooked the alms route so we could watch the Monks come by. The breakfast was delicious, and staff really friendly and helpful.

Lotus Villa’s rooms open to a shaded courtyard, where they serve one of the best and filling complimentary breakfasts in the city–a giant bowl of rice noodle soup is more than enough, but that’s complemented with delicious pancakes and omelets, if you so desire. From the rooms that face the road, like the spacious and all-inclusive Orchid Suites, you can... More
