It was a wonderful relaxing time in the jungle resort. Beautiful rooms - perfect service - quiet and lot of outdoor activities possible. Sitting on the terrace of the bungalow with the great view on the small river and the jungle - having a glass of wine - that was perfect !!! more

This was the third place we stayed while we were in Luang Prabang. The first two were in town and of course Lao Spirit is about a 30 minute drive away. Can you remember quiet? This proved to be a highlight of my trip in Lao. The peacefulness and calm, rejuvenated and refreshed and I felt more relaxed after one night here than I have in years. Most definitley worth including in any Luang Prabang trip. more

This is a fantastic place to relax and experience Lao culture and landscape. The villas are beautiful and authentic with touches of class, like floor-to-ceiling glass windows facing the river and the mountain beyond. The owners are very nice. The road to Lao Spirit Resort is a rocky mess, but once you arrive at this jungle retreat you'll be glad you made the effort. The views are simply breathtaking--especially during sunrise and sunset.
