This is a small (I think 10 room) guesthouse in a great little side street location in Luang Prabang with fantastic low season deals. The entire place is super clean. The rooms are simple, but have everything you need -- comfy beds, good aircon, decent wifi. No breakfast, but a lot of nice touches like jugs to refill your water... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Apple Guest House. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were nice and clean, and they have a nice public balcony where you can hang out with your companions and other guests. Fans and air conditioners were in good working condition, and the shower was hot and had good pressure (although they aren't... More

Great to have you stay. And thank you for your kind words. The silversmith has been there for many generations so it comes with living in the heart of a Heritage Town. But the beauty of the whole of Luang Phrabang is just asking to be explored. Hope to see you again Wayne More

We stayed 3 nights in the Apple Guesthouse. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. The staff and the manager are kind and helpful. Jimmy (the manager) really cares about his guests. You can also do trips organized by him, like going to the waterfall, as we did. The only negative thing is the bathroom, which is not what we expected.

Thanks for staying at Apple Guest House. We pride ourselves on our value for money and always offer good service. Also we keep our bathrooms spotless they are standard for Asia. And we are told by other guest that our bathrooms are are very good compared to most places. Remember Laos is a third world country. And buying modern fittings... More

Apple guesthouse is a good place to stay when you're in Luang Prabang. The location is great and manager Wayne has been very helpful. We stayed in a room on the ground Floor (room 4) and it seemed that the rooms upstairs are newer and better. Our bathroom was a bit outdated. However, we enjoyed our stay here.

From the moment I arrived at Apple Guesthouse, I felt very welcomed and comfortable which, was extra nice after a long day of travelling. The owner Jimmy, his family, and the receptionist, I (not sure how he spells his name), were extremely helpful and friendly throughout my stay. The service was very personalised and Jimmy introduced me to another guest... More

3 of us stayed here for 4 nights and we enjoyed our stay. The owner and his (gorgeous!!) wife were very helpful and made us feel very welcome in their guesthouse. Thank you for taking the time to write a well informed review. The place is a good choice. Staff was really friendly with good english. The room was small and simple but enough for 1 people. It was clean but they not clean daily. Location is perfect, almost riverfront and close to the main street.

Hi and thank you for your review. We are happy you enjoyed your stay and we have noted that people are not observing the no smoking signs. A new nonsmoking area has been made available downstairs outside, under shade. I have to disagree about the size of our rooms because people forget we are only supposed 2.5 star guest house... More
