I stayed at Apple GH for 2 nights with a friend and we fully enjoyed our stay. We were in Room no. 3 (twin beds) on the ground floor, and had no issues with noise etc. There was probably no view out the window, but by the time we got back to the GH we were exhausted from our explorations... More

We booked on internet a room for 35$, and we were surprised that the room didn't look like the pictures on the website. This wouldn't have been a problem, but the price is realy too expensive for what you get( no breakfast,no fridge). You can get the same or better room at half price just in front of the guest... Sorry Marius, If your room did not look like our pictures then it is because you are in one of our new rooms which are larger than the old rooms and have a much better bathroom with separate shower & toilet. These new rooms were were only finished just before the busy season and are still in the finial stages... More

Apple guesthouse is located in the center of everything- just a 5 minute walk to one of the main streets and market. My family of 4 stayed at Apple in February 2014. Room was clean and basic, no frills but none needed. Jimmy was very helpful setting up transportation and day trips for us, he speaks excellent English. Luang Prabang... More

We were impressed by all the positive reviews of the Apple guest house before arriving and booked for 4 nights in the superior double with a balcony. All seemed good on arrival, except for no wardrobe.(just a few hooks on the wall). The constant banging from the silver Smith next door woke us every morning, he started at 8am and... More

Sorry the noise from the local silversmith was so noisy when you stayed. I agree with you he must have had a big order because it was the worst, during your stay. Fortunately it did stop on your last day. Living in a small village with the UNESCO. local crafts are encouraged to stay. I was unable to change your... More

Apple Guesthouse is a gem. Period. I liked it so much that I came back a second time. If you can, I recommend you take the room with the balcony which is really spacious and the balcony is great. Otherwise there's a communal balcony with coffee, thee and filtered watered thrown in for free. Hot water pressure was good in... More

Was initially hesitant to stay at a guesthouse but really enjoyed how comfortable everything was. The owners were lovely, always eager to help. My favourite part of the guesthouse was the communal area on the balcony which overlooked the neighbouring guesthouses, I LOVED the mahogany furniture, it was soo comforting. Location is good, everything is pretty much walking distance.

Hi again, A lot of people who have not travelled through Laos before are a bit unsure of Guest Houses in SE Asia. This is where local people look after travellers with a more personal knowledge of the area.I am so glad you enjoyed your experience with us at Apple Guest house. We try to help our guest as much... We had a wonderful stay at Apple Guesthouse thanks to Jimmy and the wonderful staff. They picked us up and dropped us off at the airport, arranged our excursions and even washed our laundry. They were full of helpful advice like buying food to give the monks rather than just taking their pictures. We even went to evening prayers and... More

I stayed at Apple guesthouse after a month long trip up the coast of Vietnam and I can honestly say that this was the most delightful place that accommodated me in Asia.
