Location is in the most beautiful & quiet laneway running off the road beside the Mekong. As we approached it the first time our thoughts were, 'I hope this it' which is often not what runs through your mind as you approach some hotels in Asia. The people who run it are the best!!! Jimmy is a legend. His wife... More

This is a nice comfortable guesthouse very close to the Mekong River. The hotel prides itself on very kind service by the owners Jimmy and his wife Nou. When they are not around they have assistance from their parents Robin and John. It is a cute clean family ran hotel. Don't worry that they don't include breakfast. You can walk... More

I stayed here for three nights. Jimmy, the host, and his wife are so nice. They tried to help me when I was sick, and invited every guests to their party during the new year's day. Location is okay. It takes about 5 min. to the main street and less than 20 min. to the night market. The one thing... More

We only stayed for one night in this guesthouse, but this place has given us remarkable memories. Located in the alley so we don't have to worry about the unnecessary loud or noise, but still very close to the river, restaurants, night market, Phousy hill, and to see the alms giving. Just as many guesthouses in Luang Prabang, with wooden... More

After travelling Thailand and Laos for a couple of weeks, we arrived in Luang Prabang after a hellish busdrive consisting of more than 20 hours. We used to check Tripadvisor for a lot of our decisions in the past, for example, while travelling Tuscany, sometimes experiencing some of the worst dining moments ever. However, in Luang Prabang, a lot of... More

My second 4 week stay here in 6 months, Apple is my home away from home. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Young Lao couple Bounmee and Nou, with older Australian couple John and Robyn, run this clean, fresh, quiet guesthouse right in the middle of the colourful CBD. It's down a quiet alleyway beside the magnificent Mekong and opposite 3... More

I stayed here for a week and all the staff were lovely and friendly. Comfy bed, good hot showers and the communal area (with free water and hot drinks) is a great addition. Quiet at night. Jimmy was helpful in booking onward travel. Highly recommended to stay at this place.
