The idyllic Apsara is deserving of five stars in every category. We stayed in this gem of a hotel in 2008, and loved it so much that we booked it again. We were so glad we did! The Apsara is located just a five-minute walk away from the hustle and bustle of Sisavangvong Road, but in a beautifully peaceful location... More

The hotel is just great, from the staff, location, breakfast, room quality and style. The river is directly across the road where there a a few very good places to eat, its ia a short walk to the town and late night market (where they are selling a lot home made stuff and not the normal tourist crap you can... Not to be confused with the more expensive Apsara across the river, this is a delightful small hotel. I was in the annex a couple of doors down the road & it was unfortunate that a house was being built right outside my door generating a bit of noise but not at night. Rooms & bathroom are a good size,... More

The Apsara is probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms and bathrooms are massive and really nicely designed. The restaurant is delicious and very peaceful, with a lovely view over the river. The staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to anybody!

Apsara was a lovely small hotel, the rooms were separate from the reception which made our stay really private. The rooms and the bathroom are huge though and really nicely finished. The terrace was a beautiful view onto the river, a really lovely place to stay.

A friend and myself were lucky enough to have both stayed at The Apsara. The staff are extremely friendly, and beyond helpful. Any issues we had finding places in town or what to do were quickly sorted out and explained. Ivan, the owner is also great, and showed us a great place in town called secret pizza. Mainly know to... I really liked this hotel and found it to be excellent value for money. The bed was very soft and comfortable, a rarity in Southeast Asia! The hotel also had a ton of character and a great location. Good bar too! I would definitely stay here again.

The Apsara is a lovely boutique hotel, that is well worth considering. The standard downstairs rooms (about $US90) include the three in a separate building from the restaurant and reception (11, 12, 14) . Room 11 is on the corner and has a window Room 12 has no window except the front opening glass doors, and Room 14 has a... More

Fabulous comfortable bed and pillows, great staff and service. The chicken noodle soup for breakfast was outstanding and the general ambiance restful. I didnt find it noisy at all but loved my stay here, why not... More

We spent 4 nights altogether at The Apsara in a triple room on the ground floor. The room was spacious (the bathroom had a large tub with lots of hot water) and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable (so much appreciated after numerous typically hard Asian beds) and we enjoyed sitting out on the veranda in the chairs just outside... More
