We stayed here for 5 nights so we got to see the good and bad of this hotel. Firstly we really appreciated getting met at the airport at night. We didn't arrange it and there were no taxis available. The good was the location ( overlooking the Nam Khan river and short walk to temples and centre of town, bars,... More

I loved to stay at this place in Luang Prabang. The hotel consists of a couple of old buildings that are very nicely renovated. Our room was well furnished and comfortable. All the points of interest are within reach.

We did not stay at the Apsara but did enjoy an amazing meal in the restaurant on site. The restaurant was not crowded and the food was as good as the meal we had nearby in a competing restaurant. We highly recommend you try Apsara... location is along the Namkhan River and the host was very helpful in describing the... More

A group of us came down the Mekong from Chaing Klong, and then stayed 3 nights at the Apsara over New Year. Ivan and his staff looked after us so well nothing was too much trouble. I particularly loved the soft pillows and the additional 'pillow top on the bed', it was so comfy. Luang Prabang is a fantastic place... More

Arrangements for this hotel was organized by itravellaos.com for our group of 18 people visiting amongst others, Luang Prabang. Apsara was really beautiful, each room tastefully appointed and beds very comfy. Unfortunately, water pressure in a couple of rooms were poor. Hotel location was fantastic, just by the river and short walking distance to town centre. The first night we arrived... More

I stayed here for three days and had a lovely experience. The hotel is very clean. The hotel purifies its drinking water and ice. The food at the restaurant is rather good. The staff is very polite and attentive. They are willing to schedule any tours outside of Luang Prabang and they make the experience of visiting Luang Prabang very... More

Luang Prabang is a small boho town that is easy to walk around - with lots of active adventures to be explored outside of town. The Apsara Hotel was located along the water and central to everything in town (but the town is so small, it's hard to not have a good location if you are on the peninsula). The... More

The hotel is small but has lots of character, a great staff, and is ideally located on a quiet street along the Nam Khan river. We stayed in a second-floor room which was relatively spacious. Breakfast is included with juice and coffee, a fruit plate, a bread basket, and a choice of main dishes. The location of the hotel is... More
