We have been for 4 nights in the Apsara Hotel in Luang Prabang. The location is close to all the main sightseeing points in LP. But on a quiet street. Nice decorated - good and friendly service. Excellent breakfast. Nice restaurant. more

Huge comfortable bedrooms, delicous food, (the lemongrass and coriander fishcakes are divine) and charming staff make The Apsara Hotel a very special place to stay in Luang Prabang. more

We originally checked into the Le Bel Air hotel, across the river from the city, but we wanted to be more in the main part of town. We looked around at a number of the small inns before deciding on the Apsara. One reason is that we loved to ground floor rooms that opened up directly onto the street. The... more

without a doubt it's one of the nicest small hotels in asia...the staff are great and couldn't be more helpful and the bed was so blissful that it was a real struggle to get out of it.. Mind you it was worth geting up as you get fantatasic home made jams and real coffee for breakfast. It's definately a place... more

We enjoyed our stay at the Apsara but the fact we were lucky enough to get a room upgrade helped considerably! The upstairs room we had was great - large, clean, very comfortable bed. Location is farily good, about ten minute walk from the centre but on a quiet road. I wouldn't recommend arranging any trips through the hotel as... more

Stayed here for 3 nights during our 3 week trip around SE Asia. We had a standard downstairs room for our family of 4 (children 9 & 11).Not sure which number it was but to the left of the restaurant as you look from the street. The room was plenty big enough with a large high wooden double bed, a... more

This stylish hotel is in a fabulous location overlooking the river and in the heart of the old city with a much more serene ambience than other parts. We stayed in one of the superior rooms above the restaurant and the views are beautiful. The hotel features in the "Hip Hotels" guide and is a chic as ever. The rooms... more

Having stayed at the Apsara June 18th-21st, i have to say i really enjoyed my stay. On arrival i was upgraded to an upstairs room having originally booked a downstairs room. The room itself was basic and clean, with a small balcony, a fridge, air-con, the all important safe, and probably the most comfortable bed i had during my month... more
