A good basic hotel in a lovely setting. Decorated in a traditional manner with comfortable furnishings and common seating areas in the main reception area. Our room had a terrace overlooking the river which we used often. Outside furniture did smell like armpits which was not too pleasant. Enjoyed the shutters on the doors and windows allowing total darkness in... More

Room was OK and location opposite the river is great but when it very hot and you have no cold water or drinks and no TV it becomes a bit pathetic when you realise that it is not a cheap hotel and Im sure better value exists in Luang Prabang. Staff do there best to help with little English and... More

Comfortable room but did not have a TV or fridge. Very small and compact. Had wooden shutter doors which couldn't be locked at night for personal safety. Comforable bed, good shower. Very small narrow balcony could only comfortably seat one person. Very expensive for lack of amenities. Breakfast is across the road in an open air environment. Need to get... More

Calm and very peaceful hotel, simply, but tastefully decorated and equipped with all needed facilities. The building is rather unobtrusive, what makes Luang Prabang even more enjoyable. Spacious and clean rooms with aircondition, bathroom with hairdryer. Quite strange stair case. Computer with wifi in the lobby available. Very good location - only few steps from the night market, main shopping... More

Be aware this hotel is spread over a couple of properties. I ended up in the property that is opposite a wat, not the river, but this was perfectly ok unless you are set on a riverview. Room was good size, clean, good bathroom. Bed was hard but they all are in Laos - part of the adventure. Lovely brekkie... More

This was our second visit to Luang Prabang so we chose this hotel primarily for its location and its sense of heritage - and were not disappointed with either. We did, however, e-mail in advance make sure that we had rooms in the main building on the riverside. We were slightly disappointed that from the ground floor terrace of our... More

This hotel has a great location next to the Mekong River. It's basic but is very clean and has free WiFi. Staff are very friendly & helpful. We had a room with a little verandah where we could sit after dinner with a cup of tea and review the day's events. A pleasant stay here.

If you want a value stay in LP, try this. There are no frills and little space if you want to spend 1/2 a day in the hotel but it has all you need. It is clean, comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is across the road along the Mekong. It is simple but adequate and... More
