Spent two nights at Le Sen during a two week trip around SE Asia. I have spent a lot of time in Vientiane for work, but never made it up to LP. First, the hotel is a bit far from the center of town, which is nice if you like to walk so you can get some local culture on... More

A wonderful place in Luang Prabang. Very clean and helpful staff. Laundry done on site at a nominal cost. Bicycles available at no cost. Has free airport shuttle service. Pool available but unheated and was slightly cool during our visit. Restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. They did have some problems with wifi which was beyond their control... We made our room reservation in July 2014 and was glad to secure the last available room - an executive suite - for our three-night stay in February 2015 during the Chinese New Year. Phou was extremely responsive and helpful to our email inquiries, and we appreciated the complimentary airport transfers as well as the Lao Set Menu at their... More

Le Sen is a genuine Boutique Hotel. Small, intimate - a little oasis. A place to return to at the end of each day for a relaxing experience by the pool. The physical and visual appeal and the general ambiance is second to none. The staff all showed such professionalism, warmth and friendliness. This was my 60th Birthday celebration with... More

We were greeted by a very friendly staff. After a nice introduction and chat about the hotel, we were shown our room. A massive king bed, the most comfortable one this far on our 4 week trip. The only let down of this hotel was the lack of poolside seating.

le Sen is a boutique hotel with friendly staff, excellent amenities and a relaxed but luxurious ambience. The food in the restaurant is first rate and breakfasts have unusual and classy touches. Although the hotel is a good walk from the centre of town the hotel provides a shuttle service which is convenient and adaptable. We really enjoyed this hotel.... More

A wonderful 20 room hotel, smiling attentive staff, nice little swimming pool, clean spacious bedrooms. Le Sen is just 5 min from city centre (night market on the main street). A complimentary shuttle minibus drives you there every half an hour until 10pm. Walking distance is 15 min. Breakfast is good, an open air roofed restaurant. We had lunch once... More

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Just loved our stay. Awesome staff always very helpful and happy. They were just fantastic. Great breakfast, lovely setting. Food really good in restaurant. Super clean pool, its not heated (as they do make clear on website) but I still liked a quick dip after using the best gym I have seen in... More

Stayed here for 5 nights - a lovely little boutique hotel. Nice room, small but great little swimming pool, often had it to ourselves, as people are out sight-seeing at different times of the day. Excellent breakfasts. Staff were great - especially those on the reception desk - were always very friendly and helpful. It's located a little on the... More

You couldn't do better than staying in this hotel when you visit luang prabang. The design and facilities are excellent. The food delicious. The staff very well trained and responsive. The hotel is family owned and we met the owner manager, Phouvailaf, as we left, and he asked if there was anything he could do to improve our experience. Our... More
