We arrived at the Maison Souvannaphoum after a mesmerising 2 day journey on the Mekong River. The well-maintained colonial building is conveniently located at the city yet far enough from all the noise and action so that we were able to access the actions within a few minutes walk while being able to enjoy the tranquil surrounding at the same time. Yvonne and her team were very personable, addressing us by our names right from the... More

Helpful staff from the front gate to the front desk and all in between. Position was perfect still within a short stroll to the night markets and eating of street food but far enough away too seem secluded. Having a pool was a great bonus to relax in after a hectic morning each day. The rooms were well serviced and... More

Maison Souvannaphoum Hotel was a former palace ground tucked 10-minute walk away from the Luang Prabang night market street. The huge garden is a sanctuary for the senses after a busy sight seeing and night market shopping at rustic Luang Prabang. The rooms reflect the former regal past and the hotel staff are super attentive. The spa treatment may not... More

We had a very enjoyable 6 night stay in a Garden Balcony Room, size is good and the balcony makes a great extra addition. The only feedback I would give is the bathrooms could use a refresh and they were smaller than expected but overall room is very good value considering the facilities on-site and location. The staff are an... More
