This small and charming hotel is right at the start of the night market, near to the point where you will see the early morning parade of monks and very central to everything else. The rooms are large and airy with shutter to keep out the searing sunshine and excellent air conditioning. Staff are friendly and the breakfasts are good.

we had to check out of another hotel in Laos because we were not happy with the resort and spa we had checked into. We found this hotel when we were in town we asked the reception staff if we could see the rooms which he let us see, well what a difference spacey room with safe, lovely bathroom and... More

Our large room overlooking the street and night market was comfortable if a bit short of light (open the shutters more in the day). The staff are helpful and pleasant, breakfast provides good choice for western tastes and the location is superb, close to the river, Phonsai Hill and the museum that was the former royal palace. ATMs abound nearby... More

It's not a review for the hotel but a review for the outstanding cakes that are on display on the main street. The banana cake is out of this world as are the doughnuts. The hotel its self is in a great Location,if I had my time again I probably would stay here. But i would get very fat!

The location was amazing, right on the street for the night market. Everything within close walking distance. The room was large but there was no safe and it was very dark. The TV and DVD did not work. But AC was great. The bed was rock hard but pillows were fluffy and great to sleep on. Free breakfast and airport... More

We spent 2 nights here and were generally satisfied. We had rooms overlooking the main Street , where there is a night market every night and where they ones walk every morning. We could see everything from our balconies. So perfect location.....except for the barking dogs a 5 am; the endless traffic and the terrible pollution . Our breakfast was... More

The location of this hotel puts you right in the night market area. Just be aware that the noise from the morning traffic is very loud, even with the doors and shutters closed. A major negative was the lack of a bracket to hold the shower head, so the spray gets all over the floor.

Check in smooth and qucik, friendly staff. Big room with good AC. We had a room away from the main street and it was very quiet. Hotel is right at the night market. Free air port transfer. Good value for money

We had a beautiful room on the top floor (4th or 5th floor ?) - very clean, nice furniture and lots of room to spread luggage out. Windows opened out onto neighboring house and a party with loud music was going on the first afternoon / evening. But with the windows and shutters closed, noise was not a problem. The... More

The quality of the food was poor. The Laotian style salad I ordered was just a salad with what seemed like thousand Island dressing it. The Laotian style sausages I ordered were nice, but the portion was tiny. I won't go into any more details but considering the hotels facade and overall appearance inside (which is really nice!) I was... More
