Very nice hotel, a bit pricey though. A quick warning: if you are traveling with kids be aware that sex tourism is everywhere in the hotel: old European mean dating young local boys at the reception, breakfast together, ... one of our children found a condom cover under the bed ! Not nice.

We only stayed for 2 nights but could easily have stayed longer. Villa Santi is right in the heart of the special town which is Luang Prabang. The monks process past the front of the hotel during their daily collection of food and alms. You need to get up very early to witness this and even to take part, local... More

This was our second time visiting Luang Prabang. Tried to book a room at Villa Santi for 3 consecutive years but couldn't get a room until this Dec. Had a wonderful and memorable stay. All of the staff were very helpful and very friendly. The room is just perfect for 2 person. The hotel is in the best location one... More

I had lunch at the Villa Santi restaurant on the first floor overlooking the main street in Luang Prabang after my hike to the top of Phousi Hill. I thought I deserved a reward and I got it. I was the only patron until French tourists arrived. Service was excellent and food was great. Not cheap - but cheap is... More

We have stayed at either the hotel or resort five times now. The rooms are comfortable the food is excellent and the staff do all they can to make a stay pleasurable and all at good value for money. We would certainly stay there again.

Too expensive for very dark rooms, in front of a wall. Sexual tourism admitted: sometimes less of quietness. No computer for customers.

This restored old Palace built in colonial style was one of Luang Prabang's first boutique hotels. Nowadays, there have been many newer, more luxurious and more expensive hotels opened in and around the town, but Villa Santi is still the number one choice for a central location, value for money, and style. Rooms can be a little dark, and as... More

I booked this online via Agoda. I thought it was a good deal and included breakfast plus airport pick up and return. This wasn't clear when I booked and I paid for a taxi at the airport which I needn't have done. The room was large with good facilities including a bath, although it was a little on the dark... Luang Prabang is still a sleepy town, not influence by the outside world much, life goes on the same for the last hundred years, monks come around to collect foods early in the morning, old temple needed much fund to repair, see farmers working at the field next to the hotel, as the tale goes, this hotel was home of a... A nice hotel centrally located friendly and very helpful staff and super breakfast, it was just disappointing to get to the hotel where we had booked the room some month before and they had overbooked so we could get a room at their resort, but after about 15 minutes. Discussion they suddenly had a room that was free
