If you're not on a very strict budget, we would suggest booking one of the suites. They are located in the main building just off the lobby. The majority of rooms are across the street behind the hotel. The suites are a bit larger and have a sitting area. The only drawback would be if you were a light sleeper.... More

I discovered this hotel by chance and I had the pleasure to stay there two nights while visiting one of the most beautiful town in SEA, i.e. Luang Prabang (personal opinion). The atmosphere this hotel delivers is simply magic. It is like having a trip into the past at Indocina time. Service, rooms, breakfast and staff were indeed superb. Strongly... More

I am so glad I (1) didn't spend a fortune on the few 5-star hotels, and (2) didn't select the economy "guest-stay" places. Villa Santi Hotel is very nice for Laos; it is clean and comfortable. It is a great location, yet it is quiet. The cost is reasonable for large nice rooms (I had the Deluxe King located in... More

Everything is excellent, probably apart of location. It's located at the outskirts of the town. Yet, there is a free shuttle that goes to a 'sister' hotel that is located in the centre. Apart from this, it is hardly possible to wish for more. Excellent hotel: rooms, garden, food... And they even speak-ish English at the reception (trust me, it's... More

Villa Santi Hotel Louang Prabang There are 3 hotels with the name of Villa Santi in Louang Prabang. The main one in an old villa along the main street in Louang Prabang in the best possible position with the reception the restaurant and a few suites, the annex just opposite in a quite side street and the resort outside the... we spent 3 nights in the Villa Santi & thought it was great. A lovely old colonial hotel, location was perfect, near restaurants & the night market & perfect if you want to get up early to see the monks gathering their food from the villagers. The rooms & breakfast were good, staff were helpful, complementary pickups to & from... More

A very clean, and centrally located hotel accomodation. This is one of the nicer hotels in Luang where hotel accomodation is scarce! Early risers will have a chance to witness the moving ritual as long lines of saffron-clad, barefoot monks walk silently along this hotel street, on their morning alms round, collecting donations of food. Food served is excellent, especially... More

Okay, true -- there are a lot of other places in the same location / street that offer better prices. But I feel the breakfast buffet offered, with a view from the balcony and the quiet morning with the Alms giving - made up for the price. Didnt try the pool since I feel rather exposed with the location in... More

We didn't stay at the hotel just ate at the restaurant. I'm Lao myself and so were most of us having dinner. We had the set menus and it was delicious. Most places that serve the local speciality ok larm (a spicy meat and veggie herby stew) don't do a good job of it. This place did it very well,... More

The rooms for this hotel are located in new buildings at the back and across a road from the colonial reception and dining hall. This means you experience modern comfort combined with old world charm. Breakfast on the balcony is a delight as tout le monde walks by. The hotel is situated at the eastern end of the old town...
