Location of this hotel is good within walking distance to night market and tourist attractions, early morning about 6 am everyday at the front of the hotel you can see parade of the local monks about 100 of them accepted the offering from the local and tourist. The room is spacious and very traditional Loas style with modern amenities, no... More

This hotel in Luang Prabang very much suits our preference for hospitality and local culture when we travel. It is nicely designed and decorated, and provided everything we needed. The location is in the quieter zone of the main boulevard where you can watch the activities of this wonderful and historic small city: monks filing through for their morning alms,... More

I arrived at the Villa Santi after dark. I enjoyed the five-course dinner in the hotel dining room. It was fun to try out the tub before having a good night's sleep. Before breakfast, I took photos on an early morning walk around the hotel grounds.

This hotel is one of the former residences of the royal family. A good property. There isn't any lift. If your rooms are on the first floor then be prepared to climb the steep staircase. Those having a knee problem suggest that you ask for a room on the ground floor. The buffet breakfast is of reasonably good quality. The... More

Villa Santi, is a heritage hotel (former home of a Lao princess) with a great location in the middle of plenty of good restaurants, cafes and activities. Around 200 monks walk past the front gate around dawn gathering alms from locals, but then continue to walk past all day in ones and twos. It is lovely to watch this as... More

Advertised as a boutique hotel we were hoping for a similar experience we had in the bursari heritage. The buildings from the outside are old Laos style and look exceptional. The first room we were given was in the annexe on the ground floor. This room was dark and dingy, bathroom in urgent need of updating. We complained and was... More

I stayed 3 nights in Villa Santi in February 2015. The hotel is a former residence of local princess and has lots of charm from historical and architectural perspective. Location is also great in the center of magical town of Luang Prabang (be careful not to choose hotel out of town that has same name, unless you want to). Everybody... More

It is easy to get confused. Indeed there are two Villa Santi hotels in Luang Prabang, under the same managment. One is in historical town proper, centrally located on the main road very close to the beautiful wats and shops. The other is outside of town in a bucolic village area, hence it's name as a Resort. You will need... More

The old tiled floor, the wooden bannisters, the shutters, the verandas all convey the nostalgia of old romantic times in Indochina. The Villa's location at the end of the street gives it some privacy, especially the Annex at the back. There is a nice sitting area looking out to the garden. The breakfast at the veranda is a treat. Just... More
