This hotel is owned by a former Lao princess, and it shows. We felt like royalty staying there. We stayed in the royal suite, and could not have asked for a better room. In the morning, the monks pass by to receive alms, but we were able to sleep through it on the second day. There is also a school... More

Villa Santi is a beautiful old building set in peaceful gardens. It's in the ideal location, close to restaurants and the night market. We stayed in the annexe, which is across the side street from the main building. Our room was comfortable and clean, and a good size. Free wifi was reasonably consistent and they provide all the little free... More

This gem of a boutique hotel, was just what I was looking for. An old 19th century privat villa, converted to an beautiful Hotel. It feels like a privat villa rather than a hotel with just a number on your door. Lovely restaurant you can sit on the terrasse and watch the world go bye. Breakfast buffet is great. The... More

We stayed there few days in our trip across lao. It is a peaceful and quiet old mansion converted into an exquisite hotel. You don't go there for outrageously luxury and flashy asian hotel but the pleasure of staying in an historical place, romantic, relatively small and easy going. We dis really enjoyed.

Perfect location and close to tourist street, restaurants the riversides and bars! Room was a good size. Didnt enjoy breakfast, but there are so many great restaurants around its easy to forgive. Only complaint, the shower was set at a very small height and the wifi was slow.

Perfect location to stay in Laos, at the end of the night markets, also close to lots of bars and heaps of good places to get food. The morning alms is literally out the front of this hotel and amazing to watch. The room was ok, could complain about the set up of the shower it was set for someone... More

We stayed at the Villa Santi Hotel in Luang Prabang. It was recommended to us by our travel agent in Vietnam - Indochina Voyages. It is one of the finest places we have ever stayed. The management gave us a free upgrade to 2 beautiful rooms for ourselves and our friends that we travel with (2 couples). Seeing the Monks... More

This hotel is located in the central area and you can find some restaurants nearby. I stayed at the annex. The room is clean and comfortable. In the early morning, you can see religious mendicancy in front of the hotel but please pay a little attention if you will stay at the annex. When I went out of the annex... More

A few minutes walk from the night market, temples and rivers. The monks pass by here every morning at 0600 am - a sight worth getting up for! Excellent buffet breakfast and you can also order from the menu. Perfect sitting on the balcony for breakfast but prices for beer etc rather more than in the restaurants just a little... More

Warning - not the hotel's fault but getting it out there. We arrived expecting a laid back, step back in time, location. It would have been like this had it not been new year (April 14th-16th). It was an exciting time to be there but please be prepared as it turns into Falaraki (wild Greek resort) during these dates. You... More
