We stayed at the Villa Santi Hotel in Luang Prabang. It was recommended to us by our travel agent in Vietnam - Indochina Voyages. It is one of the finest places we have ever stayed. The management gave us a free upgrade to 2 beautiful rooms for ourselves and our friends that we travel with (2 couples). Seeing the Monks... More

This hotel is located in the central area and you can find some restaurants nearby. I stayed at the annex. The room is clean and comfortable. In the early morning, you can see religious mendicancy in front of the hotel but please pay a little attention if you will stay at the annex. When I went out of the annex... More

A few minutes walk from the night market, temples and rivers. The monks pass by here every morning at 0600 am - a sight worth getting up for! Excellent buffet breakfast and you can also order from the menu. Perfect sitting on the balcony for breakfast but prices for beer etc rather more than in the restaurants just a little... More

Warning - not the hotel's fault but getting it out there. We arrived expecting a laid back, step back in time, location. It would have been like this had it not been new year (April 14th-16th). It was an exciting time to be there but please be prepared as it turns into Falaraki (wild Greek resort) during these dates. You... More

The hotel is beautifully situated down the road from the main hustle and bustle of the town. It is only a short walk to the market stalls and restaurants as well as the local mountain where, if you are energetic, you can climb to the to for some great views over the city and Mekong river. In the evening it... More

Stayed her March 2015. My first time to Luang Prabang and Laos. Staff at VSH where wonderful and helpful and very friendly. Right from check in to check out we received excellent service. We had a huge room just down the hall from the front desk, easily could have slept 12 people. The bed was a big king and the... More

This hotel in Luang Prabang very much suits our preference for hospitality and local culture when we travel. It is nicely designed and decorated, and provided everything we needed. The location is in the quieter zone of the main boulevard where you can watch the activities of this wonderful and historic small city: monks filing through for their morning alms,... More

I arrived at the Villa Santi after dark. I enjoyed the five-course dinner in the hotel dining room. It was fun to try out the tub before having a good night's sleep. Before breakfast, I took photos on an early morning walk around the hotel grounds.
