Stayed here last week for 4 nights and would thoroughly recommend it. The rooms were spacious and very clean with very comfy king size beds. We had to share a bathroom which was fine as there are only 3 other rooms and the majority of the time we were the only ones there. The staff are very friendly and always... More

I stayed at Halalao Homestay at least for 12 days and i enjoyed it very much. I booked a room with a kingsize bed and a shower, fan and air condition for about 20 US$ (in the low season, the town was not very crowdy). We just happened upon this brand new little guest house and chose to stay because they offered us the cheapest rates (100,000 a night). We ended up staying nine nights total and our stay was pleasant over all. The staff was very nice but they spoke very little English and sometimes communication with them was very difficult.
