Not really sure what to write about this place. We didn't dislike it but we didn't like it either. After reading all the previous reviews on here we started to get a bad vibe, but maybe that's just one of the perils of TripAdvisor! There were people sleeping in the reception as mentioned before but since we read that they... More

When we arrived we where shown two properties one in the old building (No Wifi) 70000 KIP and a room in the new building (With Wifi) 100000 KIP. We chose the 100000 KIP room in the new building as it looked more modern and offered the option of Wifi in the room (which is always nice when you return after... More

I'm surprised to read some of the other reviews on here, from what I experienced, the staff were very friendly and not in your face at all, quite the opposite actually. I also did not experience any reason to be worried about my valuables and did have any issues with security. We had a fan room which was spacious, clean... More

Den of thieves ! I left my telephone on a table in a common area . A fellow traveler found it and turned it in . I asked the receptionist the next morning if a telephone was found and the same man that received it said no . Unfortunately I did not hear this from the other traveler till we... More

After a booking mixup at one of the hostels in town, my two friends and I found a special on agoda.com and it worked out perfectly! Close to über cool bar Utopia, and within walking distance of several wats and the night market, this was a good choice. Rooms were clean, they had a three bed option which was perfect... More

We came here after moving from another hotel in the town and extended our stay to five nights. While it was very cheap US$15 for a double room we thought we had the best room on the top floor on the corner with a fabulous balcony with 2 big recliner chairs overlooking the river and big windows to get the... We stayed here for 5 nights in total. To begin with we were in the cheaper rooms in a completely separate block, which was clean but the bathroom wasn't great and there was no wifi. We asked to move, and it was not a problem, we moved to a much nicer room right next to reception with a tv and... More

The hotel itself is actually ok for the price you pay. However, the hassle you will guys from in reception do not make it worth staying here. We were handed the Laws of Laos twice when sat outside at 9pm & 10pm. Sure we were having a beer but we were not being disruptive. Then they decreased the price of... More

This place is really good we stayed in a nice double room with hot shower for 50000 Kip which was a good price for Luang Prabang (we walked around and tried to find cheaper). The place comes with free bananas, coffee, tea and drinking water. Yes the WifI is crap in the rooms, but travelling isn't about staying in your... More

Accommodation in Luang probing we found is slightly more expensive then most places in SE Asia and this was the only place we could find an air con room for $10. However it was probably the worst $10 you can spend. The wifi is there but so slow that it takes over an hour to load a page, the air... More
