Paid a lot extra for the best room, upstairs in the new building. Had to stay in this Laos'y place in this Laos'y town 3 days waiting for my Vietnam visa and flight, which couldn't come soon enough. Well the Wifi in the lobby was intermittent and painfully slow to the point of being useless to book flights, AC broken,... More

Difficult one to rate... We turned up and the firts ight they only had their most expensive river view room avaiable, we took it and had a great stay, they even put an extra matress on the floor for a friend who was turning u half way through the night, free of charge. The room was very large, clean and... More

We were there 4 nights, and it was ok. Free banana, Water and horrible coffee and tea. The worst thing was that you ever give the passport to them if you want to rent anything except to rent a bicycle. I mean, they have all our belongings in our room and need in additional the passport? C' am on...! So... More

At first the place seemed nice but at least it was a little loud sometimes and it is expensive as well. But I really was angry about the fact, that they always wanted our passports when we wanted to rent a scooter or even a bicycle!when you don't want to give it to them they get angry and send you... Without any doubt, one of the most terrible places i have stayed in. Cockroaches, snails, mosquitos everywhere, wifi not working properly, TV broken, tiny rooms, no water heater, and iafter complain the answer was " whatever! if you don't like, you can leave. But we won t pay you back." Totally disrespectful staff and awful dirty place overall.

1. Me and my friend paid half of the fee one day in-advance for two nights stay. When we arrived, a 'supervisor' reminded us to check out tomorrow because we only paid one night. He then tried to tell us to pay more if we really wanted to stay one more night until we showed them the receipt. 2. In... More

Booked, paid, reserved early. Upon arrival I was told to pay 50,000 extra or leave. It was during the busiest time of year when everything was full. Here are the details: I stayed here last night. Right now is an extremely busy time in Luang Prabang because the Chinese New Year holiday started and it is next to impossible to... More

I stayed here for one night in early September. Room was relatively okay; clean and modest. I was in a room on the ground floor just beside the reception area, and the wi-fi was okay in the room. However, one male staff member really scared me while I was here. Found him to be slightly over-familiar when he was showing... More

This place is a typical travelers guesthouse. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel keep looking. I was in Laos for 2 weeks traveling before going into Thailand and ended up staying here a few separate times. The first couple of days we stayed here it was great! It was basic but clean, bathroom, tv and a little... More

Not really sure what to write about this place. We didn't dislike it but we didn't like it either. After reading all the previous reviews on here we started to get a bad vibe, but maybe that's just one of the perils of TripAdvisor! There were people sleeping in the reception as mentioned before but since we read that they... More
