Me and my wife stayed at Bellevue Bungalows for 6 days in November 2014 and simply loved the place. We are backpackers and were looking for a basic, clean and affordable accommodation. This place exceeded our expectations by far. It is located at the old bridge, so it's not directly in the town center. However, it's only a 15 minute... More

There were lots of cute little puppies running around! The staff (family owned) was very accommodating. Nothing fancy here with a fan and mosquito net, but everything was comfortable. It was Lao New Year and my white shirt got stained from an over zealous child splashing me-- but the housekeeper was able to get the purple stains out without complaint.... More

I kept extending my stay and returned again after a trip into northern Laos. Both bungalows I stayed in were clean, comfortable and had great character...nice veranda with chairs and small table, wood floors inside, stone walls in the bathroom. The gardens are lovely, breakfast is great, a 20 minute walk to the Old Town peninsula and night market, good... More

We stayed 3 nights in two different both nice bungalows. There was the smell of an open Sewer in both rooms. Smells very offensive. Also there were bathtubs in both rooms but we were not allowed to have a plug. Travellers tip: half a lime makes a great plug for only 1000 kip. The wifi may be free but it does... More

I loved this place. The owners are really lovely people that are happy to help you at any time. We stayed at a lovely bungalow 555, it was so cute. The room was spotless and the bathroom a pleasant surprise after other hotels I had stayed in during the Intrepid trip. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent for... More

“ Very good Bungalow Hotel, family run, well organised with great support for the customers and a lovely garden. This is the place we had greatest service for very very small pay!, where you can relax, close to the night market in the suburb , just 20 minutes walk to the city in a quiet area. Perfect stay, very recommendable!... More

Quiet, peaceful place though a little to far out of the main areas. Owners where lovely, got a few dogs but friendly too...Good breakfast, perhaps a little overpriced. Several bungalows for couples and singles....good rooms.....good hot water when it warms up and get flow right

No hot water in the room and the receptionnist never show me how the hot water in the bathroom works. He only give me a glass of water telling me to put my finger inside to feel the water hot (the day of departure when I was outside ready to leave...) Ant in the bathroom, and cockroach in the room... As soon as I arrive I was "welcome" in buy one, two, three, four, five, six, yes six dogs. I like dogs but sorry 6 are too much for me in such a small place. Actually the probleme is that the customers are not aware of the situatuation, there is no mention on the web site I booked my nights.... More

I stayed with my partner in this hotel this month and I honestly do not understand how the place has ever had a positive review. I am so absolutely appalled by the filth and squalor of this hotel that it actually makes me feel slightly nauseous to write about it. We booked for three nights through Agoda but we left... More
