We were very happily surprised with the Villa Nagara and would return any time. We were received by a young, smiling staff who always knew who we were and did their best to help in any way. Breakfast is served by the veranda across the road overlooking the Nam Khan river: a peaceful, lush and very relaxing setting. Regardless of... More

We spent three nights at the Villa Nagara, a boutique hotel in a restored two-story house facing the Nam Khan river. We booked an upper-level suite and were given the amethyst room - each of the seven rooms is beautifully decorated in a different jewel tone. Our room was very spacious and featured a small balcony with a river view.... More

The location was great but Luang Prabang is small enough that doesn't really matter. The room was very nice, large, clean and comfortable with an in room safe. I had no view but it was very quiet. I thought the breakfasts were quite good (especially the little chafing dish used to keep the coffee warm) and the veranda was great.... More

Absolutely the best place I stayed during my travel through Southeast Asia. First, the villa is located in the quiet part of the old town near the Nam Ou river, but restaurants, temples, evening market are very nearby. Secondly, every room is beautifully decorated with a different color scheme and nice hardwood floors, comfortable beds. Complimentary with the room you... More

Rooms clean and comfortable.Nice location near the riverfront. However the hotel claims there is internet in the room, we weren't able to connect our tablet to the WIFI.Wifi signal very, very poor.Staff at the reception unfriendly and not motivated to help. They were more interested in keeping up with their Facebook friends. Breakfast good and it's nice to have breakfast at... More

We were very disappointed with this hotel. We thought about spending a few extra dollars and stay here because of all the good reviews, but you can definitely get better deals at other hotels. The staff is nice and the rooms are clean and tidy. However, the breakfast was awful: they don't have tables inside so they serve it on... More

Small boutique hotel with nicely decorated rooms. They have small restaurant across the street with nice breakfast and excellent dishes for lunch and dinner. Great location as it is one block away from the main street where there are plenty of restaurants.

Located right on the banks of the Nam Khan river , stayed in a river view suite for 5 nights. Beautiful room with balcony overlooking the river. Complimentary mini bar of 3 beer lao and 3 coke a day a very nice touch. Staff English not great - but very nice and you get by. Would stay here again for... More

Very nice hotel , just by the river on quiet street. Beautiful old renovated Colonial building , top-class rooms , very nice staff and a lovely stay all-in-all , breakfast on the river was very good. I recommend this hotel and would consider it again on a return trip.

We stayed for three nights and found this a great place to stay. The staff were really attentive and friendly. The location was perfect for us( not party animals any more sadly ) quiet yet close to everything. The bikes were really handy and we used them every day. Had a few problems with water cutting off but staff fixed... More
