This hotel does have nice grounds and the staff are friendly, but it's a 10 minute freezing cold tuk tuk drive into town. In December you need a heavy coat or you'll freeze. The mattress was very hard even by Asian standards. The worst thing was the badly designed shower which couldn't be reached because of the shower door. You... More

The grounds are stunning and the area, being slightly out of town is quiet and peaceful. Luang Prabang is a UNESCO site so the new hotels are outside of the old city but the city proper is only a very short tuk-tuk ride away. On the grounds are decorated with ponds of clean water and populated by water lilies. The... More

The grounds of this hotel are gorgeous. Lillie ponds, tropical vegetation, mountains in the background. The breakfast buffet was decent if not overwhelming. The staff is friendly, but needs some training. An example being; we got to the hotel early evening and decided to use the restaurant. Three of us had soup salad and entrée. On had just entrée. The... More

We totally enjoyed our 2 day stay at this hotel. it was a little outside the town and the hotel surroundings were beautiful and relaxing. The pool was especially nice and large enough for lap swimming. Our room had a balcony with a relaxing view. Dinner and breakfast were very good. The staff was very attentive.

Stayed here for three nights and we were very happy with the room. It was clean, made up daily very efficiently with plenty of toiletries and towels. My balcony must have been close to a smoker as the smell drifted over us and forced us to sit inside which was disappointing. In an era of isolating smokers from the those... More

This was just the place to stay after a hard day visiting sites on the Mekong River, villages with their own speciality skills - paper making, silk items, whisky etc and the beautiful museum in Luang Prabang, which does get a tad hot. Stayed three nights. Pool wonderful and the lily gardens surrounding the hotel spectacular! Service very good. Restaurant... More

We stayed in this hotel for three nights. We found the rooms to be very spacious and well maintained. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We ate breakfast there every day and we had dinner there two nights. Every meal was enjoyable. We would stay there again.

The stay started off badly when the organised airport shuttle didn't turn up until we made several phone calls, (we had confirmation paper work including emails from the hotel). We were told they had no booking for us despite the confirmation paper work we put in front of them! This issue was clarified eventually, when they found their paperwork! We... More

I have never stayed at such a beautiful location, the pool and the rooms were impeccable. I was on a tour and was almost tempted to miss feeding the monks to hang out by the pool. The dinner and breakfast were excellent. I would go to Laos again just to stay here!!
