The hotel is located in a very downtown area, walkable to the market, night market, Phusi Mount, the palace, the museum, and so on. And of course, next to the Kong River. As for the great location and its low pricing (50-60 USD), its rooms are quite small, about 16-20 sq.m. The bathroom has no bathtub nor dryer. If you... More

Fantastic location overlooking the Mekong. Short walk to the main street in Luang Prabang. Great air con and clean room. Hotel served breakfast but if you didnt want to eat there, there was plenty of places up the road. Dont expect much in terms of Wifi here or in Laos in general.

Our rooms faced the Mekong river so we had a great view . The French doors opened so we felt part of the outside life as well .Of course that meant early morning noise from the tut tuts plus the noise of life in the morning . This didn't really bother us at all . Our bed was comfortable ,... More

Location quite central and close to night market. We enjoyed a wonderful view from our terrace onto the Mekong River. Pro's: - good hotel, service oriented - bathroom clean and well equiped - service 24/7, friendly - good choice of breakfast Con's: - wifi slowly

I booked a room for 3 nights and after the 2 day they kicked us out of the hotel to the other river lodge 2. Because they had a group of Thai people coming and they were full booking. Unbelievable!!! Never again would I even recommend this hotel to a friend!

This Lodge is a nice looking place, the room was fine, location good, staff fine as mentioned by others. I thought breakfast was OK, a bit above average for the region though at $50 a night there is better value elsewhere in Luang Prabang. The biggest negative was the noise as all the local Tuk Tuk drivers gather to eat... More

Located a few steps from the river, and 200 meters from the city center and the night market. We had a very nice room, with a view to the river. The staff wewe very friendly and helpful, with infornation, booking and others. And not expensive. Very well recommended.

River lodge is a small hotel located on the road along the Mekong River, so for some rooms you can have river view. From the hotel, you can just walk to many of the city's main attractions ; Royal Palace Museum, Mount Phousi ( the highest point in the city ), some beautiful temples, night market walking street, etc. If... It's a first time when i travel at Luang Prabang with my favorite. We stay at Luang Prabang River Lodge for 3 nights. The hotel is beside the Mekong river and opposite at Prachaniyom coffee shop. It's easy to travel around, near morning market and night market just walk about 5 to 10 minutes. If you prefer to enter monk's... More

Pretty basic rooms, no safety boxes, but with everything else you might need during your days in this lovely and hiper lovable lao town. Staff is hyper friendly and helpful, with special mention to Kam Houng who has been extra hospitable. I have stayed 6 days during Pbee Mai (New Year) and they helped me have an unforgettable experience. Breakfast... More
