We work in Vientiane, so it’s just a 30 minute flight. We came back to this hotel after a great stay here last year and had another wonderful experience this time. As last time the staff are nice and helpful from the front desk to housekeeping, actually they have improved! The room like last year was great, clean and quiet.... More

Nice hotel situated in front of the riverbank with great atmosphere and friendly staff. The room we stayed was spread over two floors with a small balcony overlooking the Mekong the layout of the room was good especially the super comfortable mattress. There is a nice terrace restaurant opposite the hotel with some lounge furniture right on the riverbank. The... More

Absolute lovely town, relaxing, beautiful, lots of Buddhist temples, beautiful renovated French colonial building, absolute charming hotel. Had a room upstairs in the blue building, very tasteful decoration, liked especially the decoration from the furniture to the sink and the beautiful wooden floors. Very friendly... More

Combfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, served on the terrace across the street overlooking the Mekong river. Attentive staff, very knowledgeable and with good English skills. Decoration is superb and so is the atmosphere. Perfect for a honeymoon... More

By any measure, The Belle Rive is a great little hotel in a city very well served by accommodation options. The Mekong riverside location is most appealing and the hotel uses that location to good advantage with its riverside terrace available for meals, especially breakfast. The room I had, Frangipani 3, was a little small but it was well laid... More

The hotel location is perfect, across a narrow quiet road from the Mekong, with the hotels comfortable open air dining and relaxing areas directly opposite overlooking the river. Or you can breakfast on a pavement table outside the hotel. The food is freshly cooked to order and very good (their traditional breakfast noodle soup is gorgeous and I loved their... More

Beautiful house converted boutique hotel overlooking Mekong. Location is very good, close to Wat Xieng Thong, the biggest temple in the old town. Indeed, old town is within walking distance about 10 minutes to the night market. Hotel has free bicycles for guests. Moving around is very convenience and easy. The room is nicely equipped and particular like the mosquitos... More
