This is a little oasis of peace and tranquility, and you can't go wrong by staying here. That was a great find. Our original plan was to stay here for 2 days and then move further out. Loved it here so much we stayed 5 days. The owner was very accommodating and although we couldn't stay in our original room the... More

Had a difficult time finding a mid range hotel in LP. Reserved a superior room w/king through Agoda for $50 after all their fees. What they offered was a very small dark room with a double bed. We couldn't walk around if we opened our packs. We said we booked a superior room, but they wouldn't budge - and since... More

We have stayed on this quiet side of Luang Prabang before overlooking the Nam Khan river but wanted to try one of the many new guesthouses a springing up along the river. The location balances peaceful setting, especially evenings and at night with close proximity to most major temples and some restaurants and shops. We negotiated the only room (number... More

Overpriced (comparative to what's around) room at the side (number 6). A damp smell greets you as you enter the small room (rising damp??). We would have endured the four nights booked if we didn't wake up itching. On closer inspection, bugs were evident in the sheets. We asked to see another room and when we saw hairs (the short... Moved here as we decided to stay longer in Luang Prabang and wanted somewhere a bit cheaper. Mistake. Grotty and tatty rooms, lethargic staff who had to be roused from a sofa in reception to hand over room keys... Lethargic during the day that is, they found the energy to have a party on the reception desk at 3am before... More

Rooms are fine but the cleanliness was not good (especially not for this price range). Dust everywhere, bathroom wasn't clean. Especially for 25$ (which is a high price for Luang Prabang) I can expect cleanliness. Good features: aircon, tv, big balcony, wifi (very slow, almost useless), 2 bottles of water every day, very friendly staff, helped us all the time... More

Rented lower room with side door entrance. Room was a good size. Bathroom was a good size as well with divided shower and toilet areas. The room was a bit dark but very clean. Had a bit of confusion at check in. The guy couldn't locate our online reservation. They gave away the double river view room we booked and... More

We had the front balcony room and paid $60/night, including breakfast. We were here for a week: Nov.7-14,2011. Yes...the location is a 10. Lovely street and a walk to everything. This room is atmospheric, but dark. Bathroom is a definite disappointment too. Breakfast is served in an open area across the street. Some mornings it was REALLY cold out there.... More

Liked the location and staff were helpful. Room was clean and managed to get some hot water from shower - which is more than can be said for many other places in the area. Accommodation in Laos is not very cheap and this was one of the cheapest I found. If I was going to go to Laos again, I... More

Great position with breakfast on the deck overlooking the Nam Khan river. Good sized room with large bathroom with good water pressure and reliable hot water. Large shower recess separate from toilet & hand basis, so shower did not wet the other parts of the bathroom which is common in modest priced hotels in Thailand & Laos. Clean and comfortable... More
