We had a wonderful four days at this excellent establishment. We were lucky to be upgraded to a pool suite, it was huge and really luxurious. One of the best places we have ever stayed in. The staff were wonderful, very attentive without being overpowering. The food was good, just the perfect place!

Just arriving from cold europe via a quick transit in Bangkok, you suddenly woke up and dream alive ! This hotel is just amazing! Aman people had completely restored but kept the spirit of the place : an ex-colonial french hospital built around years 1900' . French architectural design with "pavillons" , wooden shutters , celadon color tile floor .....You... More

My wife and I spent three nights at the Amantaka and it was our best ever experience in a hotel. We travel frequently and stay in places like Relais & Chateaux, but we have just never experienced a place like the Amantaka. The staff was amazing. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful. We were really blown away... More

Luang Prabang is a beautiful city and the Amantaka Hotel is one of the best in this country. If you can afford it, definitly it is a must in your accommodation list. Spotless clean, friendly and polite service are the trade marks of this low-rise hotel right in the centre of Luang Prabang. Restaurant service (or the kitchen) is veeery... More

We stayed 2 nights here in October. Yes it is beautiful, quiet, services were superb. We had heavenly 2 days here. Spa treatment was excellent too. This vist was our first Aman. Fell in love, of course. I would like to visit again when it is a bit more hotter.

What a contrast… a few days ago I was in New York City and there I am in Luang Prabang for a family holiday after an uneventful flight on Bangkok Airways (which incidentally offers friendly if slightly concerning service – seems they don’t all have a clue of what’s supposed to happen)… Let’s again start with the conclusion – Amantaka... The Amantaka Resort is definitely the best Resort in South-East Asia. I have stayed several times in this resort and had always just the best experiences with the very very helpful staff and the proposed different kind of activities. You are not just in the heart of Luang Prabang in this Resort but you can actually also really feel and... More

We only visited this hotel. It is ver nice, quiet and clean. Wxcellent service. However, we were disappointed by the room and the overall hotel for its decoration that is very simplistic. For a hotel of this price, I would have expected much more.

Small luxury hotel. Our suite had our own private swimming pool which was just perfect after a full day of touring. Loved our pre-breakfast in the room that energized us for our sunrise tours. Staff was amazing, food was great....loved Laos!

We have stayed in a number of hotels in HCMC over the years and overall this was the best. We booked a Rex suite but were upgraded to a Presidential suite. Extremely spacious and although furnished traditionally lacked no mod cons. You do need to get the lift downstairs and walk across the lobby and then a second lift to... More
