My partner and I booked for 3 nights and one of the staff gave us a discounted rate, everything was good the room looked nice and clean the general hotel looked nice but when we returned from dinner 2 of the staff were up to something shady, they told us we had to go across the road to a dorm... Booked the room from Agoda around USD33/night for 3d2n. Great for the location value with walking distance from most of the tourist attraction in the main road - sisavangvong. ATM, restaurants, night market are all nearby within walking distance and Mekong River just further down the villa. There are quite a numbers of hotels, villas available but we did not... More

If you like a good nights sleep, this is not the place for you. My room had a noisy air conditioner which wasn't very cool, & when I turned the fan on, that was just as noisy. My brother stayed in the room next door & while his air conditioner was cool, it was also very noisy. The location is... More

Location is accessible to every tourist spot within the area. The night market is just 5 minutes walk. Joma cafe is only a few steps. Money changers are available in the area but you can get better rates at the changer near the market place along the road of the tourism office. Rooms are good. I got the room with... More

Booked this place from booking.com, $35/night i hope i got room with great value, only for the location (short walk to the main road-sisavangvong road, night market, phousi hill, national museum), wifi and the ambience, but not for the room, there's no window so it felt humid every time get into the room. there's no other choice for breakfast also,... I stayed five nights in this place. The Vip room is probably the biggest.very large bath room and big king size bed-superior room is smaller but quite decent-standard room is cheaper of course, with very small bathroom and noisy air conditioning. The breakfast is quite poor, but you find a great place to have breakfast in 20 meters on the main street. The young woman... The hotel is in a quiet street just off the main road. Rooms were clean + tidy + are relatively large. I had a single room with a king sized (and quite comfortable) bed with a sofa along one wall and dresser/table along the other. Location is good, with a short walk to the Mekong river on one side and... More

The beds at New Daraphet are among the most comfortable hotel beds that I have ever experienced, and definitely the best I've ever slept in at a hotel at this price point. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and while it was literally around the corner from the night market, it was quiet and peaceful. Great value choice!

The staff were helpful, owner was very welcoming. We had a river view room on the first floor. Location was good too, a 5-7 minute walk to the centre where most shops and restaurants were. All people we've met there were exceptionally friendly, speaking good English and ready to advide and help in any situation. Thank you for a nice... More
