After visiting Luang Prabang for over 5 years now, we feel after many many differnt hotels, that we have finally found what we were looking for. Great service. Always smiles, always keen to help and very knowledgeable on the city and the surrounding attractions. The rooms are small but have everything you need. not all rooms are the same so... More

My stay here in LPQ was further intrigued the moment i stepped into MyLaoHome. The place was beautiful which is actually located near the night market which is less than 2 minutes walk. Wifi was available with different routers at site( But best if you stayed at the lobby for optimum speed). I stayed in the room D3 and they... More

I stayed 3 nights at this hotel. First of all, the location is very convenient. It is 3 minutes away from the Mekong river banks (and all the restaurants you can find there), and 5 minutes away from the night market. The rooms weren't enormous but still larger than I had expected (coming straight from Hanoi, Vietnam). The overall level... More

It is a guesthouse, not an hotel, very little rooms and small toilet, if you bring heavy baggages there is a stairway very hard to climb to go the the first floor. Internet wifi is impossible to use, too slow anytime. no smoking in the rooms, a little bit dirty. Disapponted at all.

I spent 4 nights at the hotel in a single, king bed room. There is not much room to walk around, but you don't come to Luang Prabang to stay in your room. The free breakfast is served a short walk down the street on the Mekong River. The waffles were great and they had breads, fruits, waffles and traditional... More

Although the location is very good and the lobby very nice, the rooms were too small. My husband and I had to squeeze with each other to move around, as if you were trying to get out of a crowded bus or metro. Also, the bathroom had a very strong smell.

Stayed here for 4 nights during my journey in Thailand & Laos with friends. Rooms were clean and tidy with air-con. Standard twin rooms were very small and the toilet/shower was tiny. There was no room for a wardrobe. There was not enough room for two people either. Some friends stayed in the VIP room which was much bigger. Would... More

We booked 7 days in the Modern Family Room at MyLaoHome well in advance, however only a few days before we were due to arrive, we received an email to say that they had overbooked, and could only accommodate us for 5 days in that room, and the last 2 days we would have to be moved to 2 separate... When I arrived at MyLaoHome I was pleased to see No Smoking signs posted in the lobby area on the walls and on the tables. Unfortunately I soon discovered that the signs were ignored by quite a few people who spoke a European language that begins with the letter F and smoked constantly. I pointed out the signs to them... Loved the location, only a block from the market. Lots of restaurant choices nearby. Decent breakfast included with room. Nice grounds and WiFi in room, but the standard room was cramped. Very clean and the decks and sitting area were really nice.
