We stayed here for 5 nights and loved it. The rooms with the balconies are spacious, clean and comfortable. The view is great, the breakfast was simple but enjoyed on a little terrace overlooking the Mekong. Great stay! More

We stayed for 4 nights including new years eve. The we're in room 2 upstairs, balcony overlooking the river and street. Not much noise of a night time. Phon and her staff were very nice. The room was clean and tidy, bed was typical for asia , hard. Breakfast was a simple affair, choice of eggs boiled, scrambled or fried,... More

We stayed two nights in the rooms 5 and 6, including New Year's Eve. Both rooms were spacious and clean; beds were comfortable. As stated by other reviewers the rooms were noisy during the day but didn't present too much of a problem at night. However, the cooling system is very noisy and couldn't be left on when you were... We stayed two nights in a balcony room and 3 nights in a back room. Both rooms were spacious and clean; beds were generally good, although the single bed in the back room was very hard. Phon was an excellent hostess - always friendly and helpful, but I reserve my highest praise for Bun, who insisted on bringing our beers... More

We had a lovely stay here. We had room one which was a front room with a balcony and this is a real must if your budget allows. We found the rooms clean and they made the rooms up daily when you handed the key in (I suspect if you do not had the key in they do not clean... More

Only stayed here one night as the guesthouse I was staying in was booked for my final night in Luang Prabang. The stay was nice enough and price comparable ($50), but I was spoiled just a few doors down at the Villa Chidara 2.....See my review on Chidara 2 which was fabulous. Room was nice size & clean, but towels... More

We stayed there for 5 nights after reading reviewsnon TA. I contacted Phon that was very helpful and gave us a good price for the room 5, ground floor double bed. When we got there (pick up at the airport for 10$ which is quite expensive for 15min ride) we got the room 3 instead which is on the 2nd... More

I spent three nights at this guesthouse. There are many positive aspects I can highlight: I was lucky enough to get a room with a view of the Mekong river, and the balcony is lovely. The staff are very kind and friendly. You can drop your laundry off with them and within <24 hours, it comes back clean and neatly... More

Had a lovely stay and found the staff to be great. We were privvy to the $10 price hike for peak season but think it was worth it for the location. Not cheap at $50 for the better rooms but if like us you are willing to pay a slight premium to be away from the 'can't pay much for... More

We arrived in the hotel very early in the morning after a grueling bus ride from the capital city - Vientiane. It was really a rough night on the road so the welcoming guesthouse was a "manna from heaven" for my husband and I. It is owned by an affluent Lao family whose pictures are all over the guesthouse. The... More
