Second time I stayed at the Karachi Marriott. Both times were great. All the rooms have been renovated since my last visit. If you are looking for a safe, secure, and wonderfully comfortable hotel, this might be the best choice. more

Marriott has a reputation but it certainly did not live up to my expectation during my last trip. I stayed on their e-floor with complimentray internet. When i tried to log on, the internet connection was extremely slow. So slow that I had to wait for 5-7 mins for a single page to load. Since, I cudn't get any urgent... more

I stay at the Marriott Karachi regularly, around once every three weeks for a few days at a time. I also have longer trips where I’ll stay for around 10 days. This year (2007) I’ve accumulated around 70 nights there so I’d like to think I’m a regular! I always stay in the e-rooms on the 8th floor. These have... more

I stayed at the Karachi Marriott twice in January. Both stays were great, the second being better as I was assigned a room on a "Preferred floor." That meant a renovated room. The hotel is located next door to the American consulate which means the entire area has vast security measures which hamper transportation for both locals and tourists. Locals... more

I stayed here three nights in early November, despite some before-arrival reservations about security (The hotel is near the U.S. consulate and the scene of a fatal bombing a couple of years ago.) Security, however, seemed to be excellent, room and bath were very nice and clean, and the food excellent, especially in the Chinese restaurant. Staff very friendly and... more

I returned from Pakistan just under a week ago, and stayed at the Marriott for four nights. Everything was fabulous. The accomodations were comfortable, elegant and spacious. The service of the staff was simply outstanding. I would request tea or laundry/pressing service or anything else for that matter, and they would be at my door barely a few minutes after... more

I visited Karchi in May 2003 and stayed at the Marriott. The hotel was in a nicer part of Karachi, just next to the American Embassy. The hotel itself was not up to par with Marriott hotels that you would find in the United States, but for Karachi I guess it was a very good hotel. They had lots of... more
