I spent four nights here in all and enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, pity the wifi wasn't brilliant, though I could have walked to the sister hotel for good wifi if I had been desperate. I loved the wood in the bedrooms. The hotel is old-style with a typical Asian bathroom which for the uninitiated takes... More

Selected this hotel because of the positive reviews; but somehow, we have not been impressed with this hotel. We were pleased with the efficient check-in process, welcome juice, accommodating staff, clean & spacious room with the tea/coffee corner. The bed, bed sheets, mattress & pillows – clean and comfortable. The bath towels are old, and you have to climb into... More

Stayed for 4 nights at $47 a night off season. Sure you can stay in the Sedona Hotel across the road which I did for one night, for a better room and facilities but it's over $200 a night and you can walk across the road for the Sedona happy hour very easily from the View Inn as well as... More

It was the travel agency who put me in this hotel. Normally I would look for something different. My comments: Staff was very friendly. Breakfast average. Unfortunately, my room had very small windows and inside the room was some strange building constuction which made the room even smaller. Creaking bed, street noise, and aircon blowing cold air to half of... More

Stayed here 4 nights, first 2 nights in noisy room (barking dog all night long, running toilet, no room for suitcases, shower either too hot so you get burned or very cold, noisy fridge and airco). Then spent one night in other city in the hills, upon return receptionist told us she had a "nice, quiet room" for us..... well... More

Central location. Beautiful interior with carved wood panels. Good breakfast. Welcoming sign with our name was a nice touch. Pricey by SE Asian standards but most accommodation in Myanmar is. A delightful marionette theatre is just around the corner. Very small window with no view as the name would suggest.

As other reviewers have noted, the rooms are a bit small and darkish. When I complained about my windowless, walk-in closet single, I was graciously moved into a much larger room with some daylight and generally received good service. But there is no view in any room . The manager explained "view" means you are close to most major sights,... More

Well... it was in Mandalay, but no view and not much of an inn. Location was excellent - close to palace and other tourist attractions. Restaurant next door served decent food, albeit with long lags on service. Room was very small without space for hanging clothing and with limited furnishings. Bathroom was close to dysfunctional, with shower that sprayed water... More

We experienced such a warm and sincere welcome from all staff we felt right at home.Yes the bathroom is inconvenient and the room is small but we were there to see the wonderful sights of Mandalay and as we could hire bicycles so easily and cheaply we did just that( the location is excellent.)Most importantly everything is clean and the... We stayed here one night in a ground floor room. Staff was very friendly. Room was small, with two twin beds and clean bathroom. Agree with prior reviewer that design of bathroom a little awkward but at least no slime, black grout or open drains. Air conditioning worked, as well as TV. A small bowl of fruit was in the...
