very clever receptionists, (Myanmar) standard rooms no aircon (who needs it?) no bathroom at an average price, good position (on the 81st you can have an indian meal in the street food stalls). I had a room without window: good! no noise from the streets around!. a small terrace on the roof. only complaint: they use a room air freshener... More

I gave them an excellent because they were really helpful for everything we asked. We came from Yangon on a night bus.We didn't have much time to be in Myanmar so we were in a rush to see everything as fast as possible. So we arrived at 0600 in the morning. They let us take a shower without no charge and they gave... I would like to write one episode I was impressed. When I went to common bathroom in the hotel around 10 p.m.on one evening.I found footprints on the floor. After I went to there again around 5 a.m.Foodprints disapeared. What happened? I asked a hotel staff what he did at night. He told me they checked all public space all day long to... More

We stayed in this hotel during our visit to Mandalay. For the price, it was worth it. Nothing special, very basic and spartan with poor linens. My concern was that upon entering our room for the very first time, the smell of cigarettes met us. I am not sure of the smoking policy of this guesthouse but if you are... More

Would not rate this place well. We booked a cheaper room in advance and because of this we had to wait longer than 5 other groups of guests to check in (even though we arrived first) which turned out to be over 2 hours later than everyone else. This was strange given nobody checked out during that time resulting in... More

The hotel is avarage both standard and price. You can't compare the price with other asian countries. The room is okay and the staff is friendly. There are a few local restaurants near the hotel which serve good food. Please don't drive with the taxi driver U Chit (Uschi). He is for sure too expensive and has a lot of... More

$22 for a double with private bathroom, a few mozzies and some grumbling plumbing, but fine if you don't mind hard beds and a lot of pastels. Cute tacky homely furnishings. Not a bad location for food options, and nice staff.

We stayed here for 2 nights, paying $22 for a double room ensuite. Like most places in myanmar, the room was of a poor quality. However this place is charging slightly over the average rate so you expect something slightly better. However our room smelt of damp and our window looked out onto a concrete wall, so the room was... More

for 22$ a night we had a very clean room with private bathroom, hot shower, airco and frigo. Breakfast was included. Location was excellent, near the royalty palace and the market. Staff was very helpful.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2014

I stayed 1 night in single room with fan, without bathroom for $12. They have public bathroom and toilet, and serve hot water shower(rarely exist when it comes to backpacker guesthouses' public shower room in Myanmar). Location is, let's say, so so. Good location to start Mandalay city tour and visit local market, but there is not enough shop or... More
