We arrived on Monday 7th Sept at the unearthly hour of 3 AM. Ahmed was in reception and was expecting us and we got a warm welcome. We were given our keys, registration card and dining room card. Despite poor reviews, we loved this hotel . It is relatively small and personal. Right on the beach and indoor and outdoor pool. The rooms were clean and had everything you needed. On arriving at the Hotel we upgraded to all inclusive at an extra cost of £280 plus £40 for a mini bar. The room was very dirty,and had not been cleaned. we have stayed at the royal beach 4 times and the treat us like family , the receptionist ahmed is lovely he always greets us and always helps if we have anyproblems . little mohammed the luggage porter is very friendly carries your luggage and doesnt expect a tip , sammy the waiter is very good after a few nights... more

The holiday started badly with a six hour delay at the airport, then the noise from a disco until 3.30 in the morning (at another hotel) but sounded as if it was in the room,followed by noisey neighbours partying still at 4.30am. Very nice smaller hotel compared to others in the area. Great location off the main road down a quiet road directly on the beach. Indoor and outdoor pool. Friendly helpful staff.
