LOCATION Near the Medina - good for those who are off for a shopping spree but leaves much to desire for those who are not interested in shopping. Hotel surroundings are very dirty and chaotic with all sorts of beggars and people to keep an eye on. SERVICE The people working at the hotel are not always very helpful. Receptionists... more

Although it's location is great and the lobby well appointed, this hotel was a disappointment. Our room was out past the pool and down a long dark corridor. There was a fee to use the in-room safe and even a two dinar ($1.50) per day just to have a key to the minibar - I decided not to pay the fee,... more

We have just come back from Sousse Palace and had a great time there. We paid a small amount to upgrade to a suite instead of room (cash only - straight into desk clerk's top pocket - no receipt!) which was well worth it. The suite was really spacious, light, airy, well-appointed and CLEAN. We managed to pick up an... more

I stayed at the Sousse Palace from the 8th. to the 22nd. oct. '08 on B&B. bases (soon I realized I did the right thing). Room with balcony was good and clean facing the pool and beach, plenty of hot water but if you fancied an afternoon nap....forget it, too noisy with repetitive music playing at the poolside. If I... more

The key to this hotel is you get what you pay for. It is a resort town with countless options for all different levels of budgets. This hotel is on the cheaper side and that needs to be remembered when reading most of the reviews. Pros: Great beach Nice Pool Very close to the train station (great for day trips)... more

Well where shall I start.. when we first arrived at the hotel it seemed like it was a bad nightmare. It defiantly did not look like that on the websites. Lets just say if it was in the uk they will get in to trouble with the trade description act. Me and my friends thought it’ll look better in the... more

My husband and myself have just returned from this Hotel Sousse in Tunisia and we found it the worse hotel we have ever stayed in,The food was awful, the rooms were scruffy and dirty,we were given a room where the shower was broken the bath was filthy, the animation nights entertainment was a joke, The private beach was more populated by... more

Overall I would say this is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in on holiday and I am extremely fussy! We, myself and two daughters aged 23 and 19, have just returned from a week half board at the Sousse Palace. We were worried before leaving due to some of the reviews but it is a wonderful hotel.... more

We were a couple staying at the Sousse Palace at the same time as the previous reviewer. We both felt that we had arrived at a totally different hotel to the one referred to in the previous reviews on this site. The hotel was lovely, clean and welcoming. Our room was spacious, well-equipped, beautifully clean and with a stunning view... more
