The rooms are'nt cleaned (found remaining bottles, dust evrywhere) The doors does'nt properly close... If you want to have a breakfast you should get up rapidly. The rooms are not (but its written in the hotel description) renovated. Avoid this hotel !

They advertised the hotel as a 3 star hotel, and the price was accordingly. It doesn't even deserve one Star! Furniture is ancient, the bed sheets are probably bought from other hotels before they were closed down... A/c makes a terrible noise. Ancient elevators, etc. Best stay away from this one - it is located just in between other relatively... More

Alcor Hotel is old and it shows. It has 2 and 3 stars rooms, depending on the modernization level. I stayed in a 2 stars room, on the first floor and I found it pretty decent. Yes, the carpet needs to be changed, but it was clean. There are very old appliances like bedside lamps and outlets, but they were... More

The hotel is a disaster. Requires fundamental modernization. Rooms are large, but furniture and improvements were probably 20 years old. It is a hotel which retains the comunist atmosphere . Employees also are old fashioned and not friendly. Breakfast is a joke. We were a group of 6 people and the conditions were so bad (broken bed, water was flowing... More

First - when biking into Constanta, good luck finding the tourist information. I spoke with three other cyclists (three separate groups) who all had a different address and none were correct. Locals didn't know either. Go to the History & Archeological museum - not only a good museum but they have great maps (ask the security guard). Supply may be... More

We're seasoned travelers so we know what to expect in some European countries, but nothing prepared us for this place. By western standards this place would have been condemned. The carpet in our room was torn, moldy and hand't been vacuumed or cleaned in a decade. The electrical outlets were broken and a hazard. The bathroom was missing tiles and... More

Hotel was dirty. Our door would barely open due to the mouldy carpet that had gathered at the base of the door. We had to make our own beds with the stiffest sheets I've ever encountered. The cabinet to store clothes was leaning over to the side and you couldn't open it again because of the carpeting. The service was... More
