A nicely kept if quirky hotel. Its location is is ideal, 5 minutes from the beach and the old town. The suites are very spacious and very clean. The restaurant, called "CafeCafe", is the only social space, but its food is excellent and extremely good value. We noticed an earlier review commented on the problem of smokers but did not... More

The hotel is in a very convenient location, at least for business purposes. Not far from the sea, right on the main road and at walking distance from a number of bars and restaurant. It's in a nice building, not many rooms available and often fully booked. The rooms are clean and comfortable but generally a bit small.

Easily the best place to stay in Romania. The rooms are nice and spacious and very reasonably priced, especially with the included breakfast from CafeCafe. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I needed assistance. The hotel is also very centrally located near the Black Sea and there are plenty of things to do around the area. Will defiantly... If the hotel owners would allow guests to sign on their room bills, this small excellent hotel, would be almost perfect. Intimate, quite suites, well equipped and serviced. Great location, near the Black Sea. Breakfast has to be taken in a "stinky smoked environment" even though european membership forbids smoking in enclosed premises. The hotel does not care !!!!!

Dear valuable guest, Thank you for your review. I am glad that your experience with us was overall a nice one and you have enjoyed some time at the Chérica Hotel. Concerning the breakfast, we were facing some challenges due to the combined smoking and non-smoking areas in the restaurant (part of the breakfast area is partially divided from the... More

A small, 18 suites boutique hotel, with excellent location very near the Black Sea. Classified as a 4 star property, the suites are quit, large and well equipped. Bath Robes are standard. Laundry services are fast. The breakfast area, doubles as a day restaurant and coffee shop, in which, against all regulations, everybody seems to smoke. Nobody can even breath... More

Very comfortable and nice hotel. Nice place, nice organization, professional and helpful staff with smile always. Generous breakfast is included, which can be served also in your room or for take-away. I have been very satisfied at Chérica Hotel and I recommend to all who want to stay (there have been several times and will continue to do so). For... More

Very comfortable and cosy room. Professional, friendly and helpful staff. Your choice of very good Romanian wine with proper glasses in the room. A generous a la carte breakfast is included, which can be served also in your room. Breakfast was available until 13.00 during the weekdays and even later on the weekend. I recommend this restaurant for other meals... More

We do travel a lot and this was the worst experience in our life. Good points - near city centre - it was a clean place Bad points -the manager replied to my complains and insulted me, no people skills. He did not care about my experience he cared about the reputation of his hotel. How do I dare to... More

This boutique hotel, a historical newly refurbished villa, in my opinion, is one of the best in Romania, not only in Constanta. This was my third stay at Chérica. I had previously been there for business purposes and I even went on a romantic getaway during the summer. Even though December is not a peak time for the seaside, I... More

Our company's staff has visited Cherica once in a while over the last 4 years due to the professional activities in Constanta. The hotel's location is excelent, being close to most important institutions in Constanta. The rooms are large with nice decorations, the staff is young and friendly.
