In the centre of otherwise not so charming Tulcea stands Hotel Delta overlooking the Danube and the lively but still not too noisy harbour from where the small boats cruising into the Duna delta. The hotel's restaurant and its terrace is probably the best in town. Same goes for the open air lounge and their espresso.

Stayed here when cycling the lower Danube. There are 2 wings, a 3 star and a 4 star. We stayed in the 4 star and would recommend this as there very little price difference between the two. It has a lovely swimming pool, sauna and Jacuzzi all of which were very welcome after a long day cycling. It's position overlooking... More

Recommend staying at the 4 star in a deluxe room with view of Danube. Excellent location. Bed and pillows well above average for a small tourist fishing town. Air conditioner struggled to keep up. Large safe in room. Excellent shower with amenities. Breakfast was adequate but do not eat dinner in restaurant. Overcooked duck breast with no sauce and terrible... More

I stayed in a 4 star part for one month. Hotel is pretty old fashioned with older rooms but cozy. The only 2 things i didn't like is problem with water in the bathroom (no hot or only super hot water) and a strong air freshener used by maids. Restaurant on the first flood is a culinary crime, just to... More

I stayed at the 3* hotel. The food not so great. The view not so great. Old furniture not so great. The toilet seat was damaged. There was a strange smell in the room. The bed and sheets were O.K. I will not go there again.

We´ve stayed here in the 4* wing for 1 night (family with 2 boys 11/13 yrs) in two different rooms. Spacious rooms with with good beds and fine pier/harbour views. Breakfast was OK. We didn´t use spa/pool area. As a lot of (foreign) parties for cruising ships stay here it might be a bit overpriced for individual travellers compared to... More

In order to be clear, there are two hotels one next to each other - the modern one (four stars) and the old communist one (three stars that should be two). We stayed in the old one, the looks clean but smells as grandma's sofa. You should avoid taking breakfast at the hotel as some of the food is old.... More

we have stayed at the 4* hotel for one night. we've made reservation for one double room with king size bed, but when we have arrived the only double room available was with twin beds. the staff was kind enough to upgrade us to a double deluxe with a breathtaking view of the Danube river. the rooms are big and... We had to stop in Tulcea. No room booked, no info on Tulcea or hotels here, except a short internet search Amaizing experience (the room didn’t see the Danube though): -excelent guest’s service skills ( Vera at reception); she helped us find the best room for our needs (family members, budget, staying time, gave our kids some data regarding Danube... The location and the view together are the best combination you can get. Room and services are very good, the stuff are very helpful and ready to give any direction and useful information in English that can be understood. The breakfast need improvements and refreshments but the view from dining room makes the difference Excellent value
