My husband and I stayed here 2 nights and couldn't have been happier with our choice of lodging. We paid 69 Euros for a double room with free high-speed internet, free full buffet breakfast, and the best location in the area. Our room had windows that opened out onto the Piata and the breeze was wonderful. Squeaky old wooden floor and hard worn bed (but a dreamy comforter), but we weren't expecting a modern, updated room. The bathroom was updated and had a shower that leaked out less on the floor than others we have patronized. No blow-dryer here, though! Part of the reason we chose the place was for the character. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices. While we didn't interact with the staff much, Octavian was gracious and recommended a great local restaurant. We took a day trip to Sighisoara from this location by hopping on the train. Beautiful old medieval town! Brasov is definitely a must-see if you go to Romania and Casa Wagner is a "must-stay." more
