I have stayed in Hotel Aro Palace for 2 nights. The hotel has a very nice, central location but do not expect too much from it. First of all, the building - looks much older than on the pictures. The rooms were spacious, with good views. The heating in my room didn't work, it took me a couple of phone... More

I was told that this is one of best 5 stars hotel in the area. I would rate it a 3 stars in other major city, but this is Brasov! I like the location. It is with easy walking distant to all the major attractions which we want to visit and there are many good restaurants near by. The room... More

Very nice rooms situated right in the historic old town area, five minutes walk from the main square. It looks like all rooms have a small balcony. Each room had a marvelous view. All our rooms had a raised sitting area and were well furnished. You must call room service for ice and it is promptly delivered. Only some rooms... More

When we arrived to Brasov our tour guide told us that we will enjoy a 5* hotel, bit old but 5*. It is well located, just some minutes away from the centre. Once you are close to the hotel you can imagine yourself to be in a yellowish old prison, a heritage from the old days in Romania. Fortunately inside... More

This was a good hotel, advertised to us as 3/4 star which is about right. There was a decent shower and we were pleased to spot a safe until we realised that it didn't work. We were only staying one night and went out almost as soon as we arrived, so it wasn't worth trying to get it fixed. The... More

The best situated hotel on our tour. Park across the street. Exchange place right next on the left. Go left and left and walk up the street to vrious coffee places and the odd restaurant. The town square is one of the best in Europe, compares to Kraskow Poland. Families, friends, kids meet there, more community than tourist. Plenty of... More

A nice quiet peaceful hotel in the best part of Brasov. Large rooms with excellant air conditioning. There is a park across the street where you can stroll and watch people play chess and other board games. The Pedestrian Walk is only 5 minutes from the hotel and provides shopping, ice cream and outdoor cafes. Breakfast starts a little late... More

Our room was in the new section and while it was very comfortable, it was over priced compared to other hotels in Romania. We paid nearly double the amount we paid for the Hilton in Sibiu and the Hilton was more luxurious and it had a better breakfast. There were also a few minor problems. The shower sprayed cold water... More

This was my second stay at the Aro Palace. The place is as beautiful as its pictures. It's quiet, the rooms are great, the views are nice. It's right across from a huge park full of trees, flowers and art. It's right in the middle of everything. The staff is fantastic. For example, when we wanted to tour Dracula's Castle,... More
