With my two travel partners, whom were male, we were recommended Majdas by a few people who stayed there. At first it was living up to the recommendation. The owner gave us some tea and cake, there was a friendly welcome and a map. She even pointed out one of the highlights of my trip which I wouldn't have known... More

I stayed here after recommendations from a friend and I'm glad I did. I went with some other travelers and we quickly found ourselves being taken care of. Majda runs a cozy home away from home with delicious meals and comfy beds and hot showers. She is a world of information and her brother Bata gives an amazing tour that... More

Lovely, cozy abode in a small, charming town. Majda (pronounced Mai-da) runs her hostel with a gentle, nurturing hand. She is incredibly thoughtful and considerate, and really goes out of her way to make you feel at home. There are lockers outside, and each room has a couch, reading lights for each bed. The bathrooms are immaculate and equipped with... More

We were recommended Majdas by a friend who stayed there several years ago. At first we felt it was living up to the recommendation. There was a friendly welcome (even though we were before check in time); we were sat down and given food and a map. However, when the food arrived we were swarmed with wasps. When I reacted... More

As soon as we got there we were offered tea, coffee, iced tea or water. Then we were given home made vegetable soup and bread with was so welcoming after 8 hours of travel. The staff are so friendly and lovely. Majda is funny, kind and good to chat with. The rooms are bright, clean and cozy and I really... More

I had a wonderful stay here, where strangers quickly become family under Majda's welcoming roof! Would highly recommend to anyone: solo travellers, friends, couples. Go on Bata's tour if you get the chance -- you won't regret it. Thank you hostel Majda for everything you do everyday to make us backpackers feel at home away from home. Some details: very... More

I will start with the good: nice breakfast, clean hostel, quiet location (but these days her neighbors were building a house, starting construction at 6:30 every morning), cute common area and Nejda from the staff is just a sweetheart. My overall experience however was a sour one, as I got 50 euro stolen from my bag on the first day.... More
