This hotel is pricey in comparison to others in Kotor but you are paying for the location (it’s smack bang in the middle of the old town) and it really is very nice. Because of this cars can’t drive in but the staff come and meet you at the city gate and walk you back to the hotel which is... More

The hotel has a great location inside the old town so you can go and come back several times during day with any problem. Rooms are very good and were renovated so are very modern and new. They are also very spacious. It has to bathrooms inside one room. The shower is great and has good pressure. Breakfast is very... More

The hotel is located in a perfect spot in the old town of Kotor. Kotor is just as pretty and interesting as Dubrovnik, but without the masses of people. This little hotel is tucked right in the old town in a very convenient location. The hotel itself is extremely nice, stylish, and comfy. The staff was so helpful and gave... More

Amazing little hotel inside the old town walls. Very friendly and helpful staff, all always happen to answer questions. We booked via a third party site who got the deposit wrong - to make up for this the hotel upgraded our room without any additional charge. Breakfast was lovely, eating on the roof terrace made it even better. We had... More

The old town of Kator is much more authentic and low key than Dubrovnik. Before our stay the friendly staff helped plan our travels to and from Croatia and Montenegro. A warm welcome on a arrival paved the way for a great stay. Comfortable contemporary design amongst heritage soul. Decent coffee, good breakfast and overall very good value that exceeded... More

The Boutique Hotel Hippocampus is in an incredibly good position within the old town of Kotor. Delightfully quirky and comfy room. But......our room on the first floor looked directly across the narrow lane to a pub and we couldn't have windows open. The pub was only about 2 metres from our windows. Would hate to be there over a busy... More

A beutifully refurbished boutique hotel in the old city. The shower was to die for and the room was lovely. They also have a rooftop seating area which seems to be a well kept secret but it was lovely to sit out there having a drink, listening to the bells ring and looking out over the rooftops. My best hint... More

Advised to stay here by a friend, we found the Hippocampus to be conveniently located in the Old City in Kotor, not far from one of the gates and parking. The hotel has fewer than a dozen rooms, and each are decorated in a new, modern theme. Windows open out onto the charming old town streets below. Rooms offer cable... More

Really charming hotel in the old town. Very comfortable rooms with all amenities, wifi access in the rooms and delicious breakfast with home made jams and local honey. But above all the service was very friendly and professional. Strongly recommend a stay here.

It was our first visit to Montenegro, Kotor is a charming old town...one of the nicest one we ever visited... Hotel is nicely done, wonderful architecture work. Rooms, furniture, china, linens top quality.... Internet was not working during our stay, was back only the last hour.... Breakfast had a good menu choice. Hotel was too pricey.
