A very well decorated, spotlessly clean small hotel situated in the heart of the walled town. Reception was part time and you need to lock the front door on your way out. The hotel is spoilt by the ground floor wine bar which is lively and loud until after midnight. Previous advice to avoid room 11 is sound advice. If... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Kotor Wine Rooms. We stayed in room 11 which was very characterful, and although compact had everything there. The receptionist Ivena was very helpful. The only negatives were that the room was a bit noisy but this was only because it is in the city and there is for a bar downstairs. The bar... More

Very close to one of the 3 gates in Kotor so not far to carry any luggage. Situated in the narrowest street in Europe. Very comfy beds, yes a small bathroom but adequate and one does need to sit sideways on the loo. But how bad. Automatic lighting on stairs very useful, everything you may need in the kitchenette, lovely... More

Great find, we really loved it here. Yes, as others have stated the rooms are good and the bathrooms are "small" and yes you do need to sit sideways. But saying all that the room was cute, the beds clean and comfortable, with loads of atmosphere. It really is a the best place to stay in Kotor if you like... More

Little hard to find at first but well worth it when I did. The receptionist was very helpful and no request was any trouble. I'm not sure why others complained about the noise, my room was right on the street and I am a light sleeper but had no issues.

I agree with previous review regarding noise from the bar-we heard it on 3 floor sometimes. Bathroom is small and you have to sit sideways if you're tall. But location is great, receptionist Ivanka was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are decorated nicely. We loved those exposed stone walls. The price was also very reasonable.

Ok, now, there is something I need to make clear right from the start - this is not a complaining review at all. On the contrary, its a big fat thumbs-up to the Kotor Wine Rooms. There are, however, a couple of things I'd like to warn you about before you go in order that nothing comes as a nasty... More

On our last night in the Balkans (15 nights, 15 hotels) we found this little gem. If we had done earlier in the trip this would have been the place we would have stayed more than one night. Location, location, right in the middle of the old town, in a quiet enough street. The rooms (with kitchenette) seem quite new... More

This little hotel is more like serviced apartments as it has no restaurant but it is completely charming with a truly lovely receptionist who is extremely helpful and friendly. It's in the most amazing location of the old town, we were on the top floor and while others have complained about views and noise I would say our studio room... More

We had a wonderful short break at the Kotor Wine Rooms. Both the accommodation & the town itself are brimming with character. The town has great architecture and lots of bars & restaurants where the prices are pretty reasonable compared with somewhere like Dubrovnik. It is easy to enjoy a wonderful trip with everything just a stroll away from the... More
